Maintainance guide:

Make sure that you regulaly clean the wood floors in order to prevent dust accumulation. We recommand to clean a small part

of stains as a testing ground to prevent too much chromatic aberration.

Dust and stain— use a hard brush dipped in warm soapy water to remove it.

Mildew— scrub with ordinary wood mode class agents, or bleach to rinse or wipe it directly.

Chalk stains—In addition to the while chalk, other colors can not be removed, you can use bleaching agent with hot soapy

water to wash it.

Ice or snow—Apply calcium chloride or rock salt, it can melt ice or snow, then use hot soapy water to wash it.

Stain soil and dirts— Apply detergent, which contains oxalic acid or phosphoric acid. Whiping the stain for 10-15 mins.

Greasy and oil-based stains—immediately use household cleaning products with hot soapy water to wash it.

Juice and wine stains—Mixed the bleach stain agent and hot soapy water to dilute the stain and wipe.

Q: outside our shower the floor has gotten wet some, and over time it has begun to wet the floor. now, the floor creaks some, and i think the particle board has gotten wet underneath. is there any way to dry this or help to remedy this process without actually replacing the floor? thanks: Sorry, but if it’s particle board and it has gotten wet over time …..most likely it is ruined

Disconnect the walls from the floor. 3. Use a floor jack and a 4X4 to jack up one side of the shed. You will need someone to hold the 4X4 vertically with one end on the jack so that the other end can be jacked up to reach a structural part of the roof or a rafter. Jack the side up about 3 inches. 4. Place a 2X6 board under the raised side with the flat sides of the board parallel to the ground and placed so that the board extends about 3 feet beyond the shed on both sides and so that the wall will sit on the 2X6 when you finish step 5. 5. Lift the 2X6 up until it touches the underside of the shed edge. Prop the board up on other boards so that there will be about 2 inches available under the board 6. Repeat steps 3, 4, 5 on the other side of the shed. 7. Continue lifting the same two sides 3 inches at a time until you have the shed sitting on 2X6 boards and the boards on cinder blocks about 8 inches above the ground. Don't lift one side all at once because some sheds are flimsy and would collapse unless you alternate lifting the two opposite walls. 8. Replace the floor. 9. Use the floor jack and the 4X4 to take one side of the shed at a time off the boards and remove the 2X6 boards and cinder blocks. Q: We have a hydronic in-floor heating system in a slab subfloor that has an engineered wood floor glued on top without a seperating membrane in between. We like to change now to a tile floor. Trying to take the wood floor up we noticed this to be very piece meal like. That glue does not come off easy and I like to find out if anybody has any knowledge in this. Can I leave the wood floor in and install tile over it or do I lose too much heat? Any suggestions on how to remove the wood floor and glue? What probelms with either way?: so the radiant heat is in the concrete slab correct? if yes then i would take up the wood flooring, alot of work but will be worth it. I would think you would have a big heat lost leaving the wood floor on, plus how thick the floor would be after putting tile on top of it. To get the glue off try heating it with a large torch if you have access to one or if you know a plumber. I did this taking up a linoleum floor and it came right up easily. heat the glue just until it gets soft then with a scraper or wide putty knife it should come up. are you doing the tile floor yourself? unless are good at it don't you will want to make sure the floor is prep the right way or you will have problems later. plus if you have a tile guy do it you will have a warranty with the job------------good luck with it

Q: I am laying a three part epoxy resin flooring to a factory floor. Any tips?????: Normally an epoxy resin floor is 2 part epoxy with a third component is color flacks that are hand spread over the resin as it is spread on the floor.. I am assuming you are going to apply this to a concrete floor. Mix the resin according to the instructions on the box or container it comes in. Follow all instructions that come with the product relative preparing the floor, such as cleaning up dirt and grease. once the resin is mixed in a large enough sized container. You may want to apply the resin around the outside edges of the floor about 5 or 6 inches with a throw away brush. spread the resin on the rest of the floor with a paint rollers. Do relatively small sections at a time and sprinkle the color flakes over each section as though you were broadcasting grass seed or ice melt. You will probably find that you will need 2 coats of the resin to cover the floor well.

Light clean just use dawn with warm to hot water and maybe some pin-sol or Lysol for a disinfectant not to much. Vacuum floor then mop.
