Q:I want to remove the laminate flooring and put tile in what tools do I need to use and how do you get the glue off
It should be a floating floor. If it is glued together, then you can't save it. I like Don's answer, might be fun. Cut it up in manageable strips, have fun. If it is snap together, you might be able to save it for another project. You'd have to remove the baseboard or shoe, but you could save most of it. But if you don't care about saving it, go back to the circular saw. If the floor is the thin plywood tongue and grove with hardwood veneer of yesteryear, then you have quite a chore. Cut it up, and scrap, scrap, scrap. Some of that type was glued down. I'm sure it will very tough to remove by using a floor scraper and elbow grease. But that's only way I know of to remove the glue.
Q:I have a tiled concrete floor in my kitchen and it is soooo cold. I am going to re-do the kitchen soon and want to put down the warmest floor I can. I cant afford underfloor heating. So, what to do? Rip up the tiles/lay laminate with insulation/vinyl flooring/another option? The current tiles are well laid and flat but are small with grout in grooves inbetween and they end just under the cabinets. Laminate with insulation looks as if it would come up quite thick if I just put it on top of the tiles. Vinyl flooring may slip on the tiles and could be just as cold. I have a rug down at the moment and it got dirty in no time so not a fan of carpet in the kitchen. Any solutions/thoughts please (especially if you are flooring contractor!)
The tried-and-true method is a small space heater under your desk. However, this tends to conflict with fire and building codes, but it seems to be a common practice, especially among women for some reason. If you're already wearing insulated boots, I don't think the concrete is the real problem. I'd check with your doctor and make sure it isn't something medical. The feet and legs seem to be the first to go if there's a circulatory problem.
Q:800x800 floor tile thickness is how much? If the living room shop 800x800 floor tiles, bedroom shop 1.2 thick composite floor, the bedroom also need to leveling it?
The bedroom needs to be leveling. The main reasons are as follows: 800 * 800 tile thickness is generally around 12-14mm, tile tile paving methods are mainly two ways: 1, the use of tile adhesive paving method: the use of tile adhesive paving, the premise Is to ensure that the original ground floor of the formation, assuming that the flatness to meet the requirements of the case (2 m by foot measurement deviation of not more than 3mm), the thickness of the adhesive layer is about 8-10mm, this will appear living room higher than the bedroom More than one centimeter, such as the flatness of the poor, you need to first leveling, coupled with the thickness of leveling layer, this will be higher than the bedroom. 2, the use of cement mortar dry shop method, dry layer and brick on the back of the cement mortar layer thickness is generally three to four centimeters, this will lead to the living room higher than the bedroom. In summary, if you want to keep the living room bedroom final finish layer height consistent, need to do leveling the bedroom floor.

Q:Flooring paved, but the place where the wall is seated, how to solve the dust

Q:Find all real numbers x satisfyingfloor(x+5) = floor(3x)HINT: Every real number x can be written as n + E where n is an integer and E is a real number such that 0 ≤ E ≤ 1
Hello, It bears repeating: you should have applied the well-known following formulas: Hello, Please and Thanks. Anyway... = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Let x be written as n+ε where n is an integer and ε is a real number such that 0≤ε<1. Then: ???x + 5 = n + ε + 5 = n + 5 + ε ???floor(x + 5) = n + 5 ???3x = 3(n + ε) = 3n + 3ε ???floor(3x) = 3n + floor(3ε) → If 0≤ε<? then ???0 ≤ 3ε < 1 ???floor(3ε) = 0 ???n + 5 = 3n ???2n = 5 ???n = 5/2 BUT n must be an integer thus this solution is invalid. → If ?≤ε<? then ???1 ≤ 3ε < 2 ???floor(3ε) = 1 ???n + 5 = 3n + 1 ???2n = 4 ???n = 2 THUS all reals of the interval [ (2+?); (2+?) ) are solutions. → If ?≤ε<1 then ???2 ≤ 3ε < 3 ???floor(3ε) = 2 ???n + 5 = 3n + 2 ???2n = 3 ???n = 3/2 BUT n must be an integer thus this solution is invalid. CONCLUSION: All real numbers x satisfying floor(x+5)=floor(3x) are the reals of interval [7/3; 8/3). Regards, Dragon.Jade :-)
Q:I want to install a floating cork flooring but I have read the floating floor is not advise for the bathroom. Any advice.
Hello, from my suggestion I think pasting cork floor or cork tile will be the most suitable one for you. Pasting on is made from 100% pure cork, so you don't have to worried about the water, but only one thing you need to be aware is that the pasting cork tile is very strictt on the floor, you need level your groud first and then install. Also, please remeber to use a good water proof glue to stick you cork tile. I am working for a cork production factory in China, so you could take my suggestion as a good advise. Q:Hey! :) so If any of you have seen my other question you will know I'm redecorating my room. I'm a dancer so I'm making space to mount a ballet barre on my wall. I have cork flooring in my room.Is cork floor bad for dancing on?It has a little give (it's a little soft) but it's not like hardwood so I'm worried it will rip (with soles of my ballet slippers and pointe shoes..)If it's a bad idea to dance on it (barre work), what should I do?I wouldn't be able to change my floors but is there something I can lay down on the floor?I could use a carpet for regular barre work and stretching but carpet is bad for pointe work... Any ideas of what I could do?
I do not recommend hardwood or any type of wood floor for ballet/pointe. Ideally, you want to have marley, if your existing floor is flat, you can just call up some dance floor companies to see if they have any reminants (small left over sections of professional dance floor) they can sell you. Let them know you need it for ballet and pointe, so they do not sell you something too slippery. Marley is semi permanent, meaning you just cut it to the size of your room and put over your existing floor. No glue, no prep needed.
