They have a list of stains to choose from, but in your case I would just look up the solutions that they tell you how to make. I would suggest repeating the process after the first application, and rinsing the rug out with cool water in between applications. Best of luck!

- me too badly first my feet started to ich then my body broke out into red bumps . its got to be the chimical but rug docter is denying the whole thing . blaming it on my carpet or things that wheer not on the serface but deep in the carpet thay are asses and where no help to me . i took a shower and half to where shoes on my feet but i went and bought a cheep machene and used only hot water in it to get it out and its a little better never use it was the pet type and the dog never in my room and before no allergy to laying on the carpet before

- If there is a setting on your vacuum for shag put it on that setting. Generally vacuum's are set to short as most carpets and rugs are not shaggy.. You may also pay for, and rent an actual rug cleaner from Stanley Steamers or some similar company..

- Q: When I vacuum area rugs the vacuum makes an unbearably loud noise. I assume the suction from the vacuum is actually sucking up the rug itself. What can be done about this? The noise is absolutely horrific and it doesn't pick up any dirt while it is happening.
- if it has a beater bar it is probably getting stuck the carpet is wrapping itself around it take the carpets outside and beat them unless you have another vac. or setting where the bar isnt going around or use the hose part if there is one.
