Q: My wife and I have a spot all picked out for a new home I plan to build in a few years. We think it makes sense to purchase some home design software so we can begin to put together a floor plan for upstairs and downstairs. What simple easy to operate software is available to help us design and see what our home will look like?
Home okorder / They are easy to use but very customizable. Hope this helps

Q: I lost my older cookbook and the newer ones, since the 50s doesn't have the recipe.
Yes, I do. If it's the recipe that's in the chicken section, it's great. It's like the one above but this one has additional ingredients like br sugar lemon juice. After browning the chicken in salad oil, remove the chicken and add to the oil: 2 medium onions in 1/4 inch slices 1/2 cup chopped celery. Cook till tender. Add 1 cup catsup, 1 cup water, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 2 to 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce and 2 Tbsp each brown sugar, vinegar prepared mustard. Season. Simmer 10 minutes; skim off excess fat.
Q: I lost my favorite recipe from a cookbook my grandmother gave me. I know the cookbook was Better Homes and Gardens, most likely published in the 1960's as a souvenir edition. The specific recipe was for lasagna on page 166. Does anyone else have the same recipe?
*the BEST ricotta is from Calabro. Hard to find...but it s not remotely like the ricotta your grocer sell. That stuff is grainy. Calabro is not only richer, but velvety smooth. Makes a huge difference in the final product. wow. this vintage recipe is GREAT! Thank you all. I m going to try fresh mozza instead (the real gooey white stuff. you can find it sliced at Restaurant Depot! Bon Appetit all!
Q: What do Garden Gnomes do when we aren't home or asleep?
hold 12-13 year olds hostage in a shed and write a ransom note in eye pencil, and video themselves on one of the peoples phone with a creepy voice dont ask -- i wasnt there
Q: Roof garden decoration should pay attention to what?
Another function of the garden is the corridor, but also needs to change the shoes, umbrellas and other functions, so the planting of fixed plants
Q: Mainly to see a celebrity from the animal planet? Since we are renting , we can't really buy and landscaping stuff or anything.
I would spend that much and buy a bottle of Vodka, make a few stiff drinks and watch animal planet on tv. Now go drink a beer and relax.
Q: How can I keep squirrels from eating all the vegetables in my garden?
Potatoes, gravy, corn on the cob and squirrel. Squirrel stir fry. Baked squirrel, carrots, onions and potatoes. BBQ squirrel with steam veggies.
Q: So my dad is usually stuck at home because he has to for certain reasons and he is unemployed, and he seems quite bored. He can't really go out for a job at the moment, so I'm looking for something he can try at home. I tried sitting down to generate some ideas for something he can do, but came out with nothing really worthy. Any good ideas? This is an optional part of the hobby/activity, but I also proposed the idea that I go bring him shopping to find a hobby, and he suggested something that will provide a little income since he is unemployed so it be even better if the hobby idea gave a chance for him to make money, too; like I said, it's an optional factor, and I'm really just searching for a hobby for him. Thanks for the answers!
I think a continual project that needs a bit of work every day is great for getting someone out of bed in the morning and keeping them motivated. How about: Restoring an old car/motorbike and then selling it Take up carpentry make furniture/wagons/dollhouses to sell Clean out the house and have a garage/OKorder sale Volunteering at a hospital, Salvation Army or St Vincent De Paul Gardening, car detailing, cleaning for some extra money Advertise handyman services, lots of single people need someone to change lightbulbs, fill cracks, replace fuses etc, not big stuff Good luck to you both :)
Q: hey ppl..i want to make a mii botanical garden at home!...i have space for arnd 20-25 flowering pots...i just want to knw..HOW SHOULD I START WID IT?..i want to display atleast 5botanical families lyk..asteracae, gram family, liliacae etc!..help plz!!.how shud i start?!
All okorder /.. (or wherever you find the best deal) Make sure that you have a bulb with a light spectrum of 6500K to promote overall growth, and a bulb of 3000K to promote flowering. For 20-25 pots.... I think you will need eight 6500K bulbs and eight 3000K bulbs to say the least. They would cost about $200 in total. But then these bulbs last for 20.000 hours of light and if you keep them on 16 hours a day, these bulbs will last uninterruptedly for about 3 years and 6 months. Some cheaper bulbs last 10.000 hours, and therefore they will have to be replaced after 1 year and 9 months. Don't forget to have a fan to improve air circulation.
