- Q: Most of the over 55 year old communities have very small lots. There are some of us that are fit and like to work in large gardens. I cant find a community that offers the security of being gated and still have homes with one or more acres.

- Q: a recipe to kill grass hoppers and grubs the eat my garden
- Why do you need a homemade recipe? Home Depot too far from your neck of the woods? Looks like the school was cause you can't spell for sh*t lol
- Q: Is there a gardening site that lets you make a online garden picking plants and all?
- There should be some sort of contact information on the bill. It's probably an outside billing company, though, and not Better Homes Garden, but this certainly won't ruin or even affect your credit.
- Q: Let's pretend again. You have a unearned income which means you don't have to go to work. You are not rich, but it is enough to cover the bills and have a bit left over for fun.Would you prefer to be self sufficient or not?Would you love to stay at home full time to look after your garden, house and family?
- If I had a proper job and then didn't have to go to work I wouldn't! I'd rather use that time to make my house gorgeous with interior design. DIY and gardening and cook lavish meals and spend more time looking after my pets. But to be honest I am kind of in this situation already! I work nearly full time as a jewellery and pet collar designer from home. So this way, I spend a lot more time looking after the pets, studying, drawing, painting, interior designing and playing music etc.
- Q: I'm about to get married and i'm moving into my fiancee's house. He's given me free reign to redecorate the 2 br, which i'm grateful for because it looks exactly like two single guys with no style have lived there for years.I don't want to waste the money hiring a decorator, are there any good websites to check out to get good styling tips?

- Q: So my dad is usually stuck at home because he has to for certain reasons and he is unemployed, and he seems quite bored. He can't really go out for a job at the moment, so I'm looking for something he can try at home. I tried sitting down to generate some ideas for something he can do, but came out with nothing really worthy. Any good ideas? This is an optional part of the hobby/activity, but I also proposed the idea that I go bring him shopping to find a hobby, and he suggested something that will provide a little income since he is unemployed so it be even better if the hobby idea gave a chance for him to make money, too; like I said, it's an optional factor, and I'm really just searching for a hobby for him. Thanks for the answers!
- I think a continual project that needs a bit of work every day is great for getting someone out of bed in the morning and keeping them motivated. How about: Restoring an old car/motorbike and then selling it Take up carpentry make furniture/wagons/dollhouses to sell Clean out the house and have a garage/OKorder sale Volunteering at a hospital, Salvation Army or St Vincent De Paul Gardening, car detailing, cleaning for some extra money Advertise handyman services, lots of single people need someone to change lightbulbs, fill cracks, replace fuses etc, not big stuff Good luck to you both :)
- Q: in your homegardenwhat is beautiful??
- Everyone have individual taste about designing interior, landscaping and surrounding of their home. For me if your home is plane and pale, nobody would ever want to call the place home. Create some mode to your home by putting a water features, green plants and flowers. Get some ideas from your friends and website about garden and landscaping. To answer your questions, at my place i like to be in my nice little garden that located at my backyard, i got a lots of green plants that easy to mantain and most likely it give the cozy feeling when you at home on weekend. Hope that you got an idea... Mal,
- Q: Most of the windows in my house have a draft coming in and I want to weatherize them, but not sure what to use that won't rip the paint off the window sills after I remove it later on. I've used the kits from Wal-Mart and it either rips off the paint or leaves a sticky residue. I've also tried using regular old saran wrap and scotch tape but that's about useless lol. Also, we have a set of French doors in the bedroom. Are there any special type of curtains I can buy to keep it warmer? Between the French doors, the window above my head of the bed and the basement door all in our bedroom it gets quite cold...about 5-10 degrees colder than the rest of the house.Advice?(FYI, we rent this house so putting in new windows isn't an option. It's a pretty old house (built in 1917) but is fairly well insulated otherwise.)
- The plastic is your best bet. You can find tape that won't leave a residue, we've got some up on our windows right now. Also, try filling long tube socks with rice or sand and sewing the open end shut and lying them at the bottom of the doors to keep the drafts out. You can also buy extra thick insulated curtains at walmart, those have helped us a lot too!
- Q: the recipie i'm looking for, i believe, includes sweet n condensed milk.
- I think you make cajeta by placing a closed can of sweetened condensed milk in a pan with water and then in the oven for a few hours. I have tons of BHG annual cookbooks. I could look it up and email it to you later. Do you know what year the recipe came out?
