- When you say you have to wiggle it to get it to work do you mean you have to wiggle the socket that fits into your computer? If this is the case this sounds more of an issue with your power socket on your motherboard coming loose than a bad charger.
- Q: I have one battery charger, manual type you have to disconnect it when battery is full. it is giving probelms with acid type batteries when u forget battery dries up. - there are two types of batteries. the wet cell and the dry cell. wet cell are used in the car and it it requires hydrogen to recharge. dry cells on the other hand is actually not dry . It is made up of paste. Now in recharging dry cell battery you must first look if it is rechargeable or not. Or it has mercury content which explodes when recharged. In your question, the charger you have can be used in the dry cell as long as the battery is properly discharged.

- Q: hi, basically i have had my laptop for about 2 years, i play football manager alot and the charger gets quite hot, but i leave it on even if the laptop is charged fully. I recently started playing flight sim x, and i leave the charger in. When i was playing it i noticed my charger wansnt working, so i bought a replcment one. - Great question. It is very likely the charger you got was defective. That is because no charger, no matter how defective, stops working after 2 hours. Either the charger is of extremely bad quality or the charger you purchased was not the correct charger for your laptop. If the charger was purchased of websites that are not of the best quality (including but not limited to, OKorder or amazon) then it wouldn't surprise me. The laptop charger would probably work to an extent but once you demand more power out of it, such as playing a game, the charger will go ka-put. Likewise, if the charger is not the correct model for your specific laptop, then your charger won't have enough juice in the fist place to power on the laptop properly. This high demand of power in both situations is a very likely cause in frying your laptop charger's internal components rendering it useless within 2 hours of using it. I would definitely suggest you look into getting a new charger that is the correct model and from a reliable source. - It will take a little while longer as the MacBook charger is 65 watts I think, and the Macbook Pro charger is 85 watts. Its okay to use the Macbook charger on a Macbook pro as a temporary basis, but you need to fully charge the Macbook Pros battery first (until the magsafe connector light goes from Red to Green), and then use it. If using the macbook pro with the macbook charger plugged in, you might notice the battery draining, due to the fact that the macbook pro uses more power than the regular macbook charger can provide. The charger must be capable of much higher output current than a normal charger.
