- Probably the best thing would be nail polish remover or paint thinner; but be sure and test a bit on the carpet under the couch or something first. If that won't work or damages the carpet, you might have to let it dry and scrape it off the best you can. If all else fails, you might need an area rug to just throw over the spot.

- Hey Dont worry about that. There are various products for carpet cleaning. One product that i know is hydra extract that is non-foaming carpet cleaning shampoo removes old stains and marks. - To clean the carpets, you'll have to use a steam cleaning machine. I would also suggest using cat NO! on the area - once it's marked, no matter how much you clean it - they will come back....using the cat NO! will assist in keeping the cat away. Are you cleaning out your litterbox daily, and adding new litter to replace the old? Is there enough litter in there? There should be 3-4 inches. Do you have enough litterboxes if you have more than one cat? Ideally you should have 1 box per cat, and if you live in a multistory - one box minimum on each floor (including a basement). If you are putting in any additives, make sure they don't have a smell - what smells good to us, may be offensive to a cat. And finally, do not put your litterbox near the cats food - would you want to eat in a smelly bathroom? The only other reason for a cat to spray is it's un-neutered, or it's feeling stressed or anxious, or there is a health issue.
- Q: I purchased this large rug at IKEA, I think its made of wooven cotton, but Im not sure (it doesnt have the tag anymore). Its really dirty, but I'm not able to put it in the laundry machine, its to big.The rug is this light cream color, so stains are very visible. Its got this weird stains, but they are made of dirt ,not of another substance. I already tried cleaning with the vacuum, but it doesnt remove them, the rug still looks dirty. - Almost all rug sellers also have rugs repaired. They know people who weave rugs and they take your rugs and have them repaired. They also buy used 2nd hand - hand weaved rugs, and sell or exchange them for machine made or cheaper but brand new rugs. Then they take those 2nd hand rugs and have them repaired and they put much more expensive price tags on them. Sometimes they even find antiques. Everyone is happy. This been said, I don't know you well enough to offer your contact address to them, or them well enough to propose bu?siness with you. Sorry.

- Trust me throw it in the wash and set it to the setting you usually do to wash colors it`ll turn out just fine . Don`t bleach it though just use laundry detergent. And to dry it throw in the dryer. I have the same rug I tried this before I reccomend it.
- Q: My new living arrangement will be in the basement of a house my friends and I are renting. The house is kind of older, so it's going to be kind of tricky finding good newer style furniture that won't clash with the rooms. The basement has gray carpet (blah) with wooden walls that have sort of a mix of green and light brown color.
- I love the idea with the navy and the orange! Very cute, modern, and classy. The walls might not match, but its worth a try. I think it will work. This may seem a little crazy, but you could get like the paint swatches at Lowe's or Home Depot of navy, orange, grey, or whatever colors you want and hold them up to the walls to see if they clash. It's worth a try.

- Carpet is pretty cheap....$2-$3 per square foot installed but look for a carpet cleaner who is going is use only Hot Water! You need a restorative process. Make sure the carpet cleaner doesn't use soaps or surfactants - they cause the carpet to rapidly resoil...... Get it clean and get the stains out....if you elect to replace go to Loews or .Home Depot ...they have a carpet that uses a new technology called Puraesque.....it can be done, just make sure you get pros instead of a bunch of nerdowells!
- Q: I am away from my horses at the moment and i have to call each day to have them rugged. I couldnt get a hold of the lady today and they may not be rugged. its winter here (not snowing here ever) and they have always had doona type rugs on of a night. will they be ok and not get sick?im so worried i feel sick
- Horses stand out in the cold and rain and have for millions of years - from long before they were domesticated. I bet they'll be fine.
