Q: I recently had my clutch replaced but now when I lift the clutch it shudders until the clutch is fully up. Why is this?
What part of the clutch did you have replaced? The flywheel, pressure plate, clutch disc, throwout bearing?
Q: I stay in Gainesville,Tx and I was wondering if there was any places in Denton or Lewisville that does the suspension lift
Dallas will do it for you. Denton they're arent many car shops. You can do it yourself. There are two kinds, A body lift and a suspension lift. A body lift is simple, Just lift the car up place the raisers and put it down. You just need some strong friends of yours. The suspension lift is better to do in a shop. I'd go with the suspension since with a body lift you'll get alot more movement in the cabin since its not really on the chassis anymore.
Q: I don‘t know much about cars and I need help.
i really depends on your truck. some trucks may cost only a hundred bucks to get the height and clearance you need, others may need thousand of dollars. you can also buy the lift kits through a customization shop. the best thing to do is go to an online forum based the truck you have and ask there. they will have all kinds of people with different lifts and pictures so you can see what would look best for you and they'd also be able to tell you all your options.
Q: Pascal‘s principle states that fluid pressure in transmitted undiminished in every direction for a closed system. Using this principle, a hydraulic lift supports a 12,000-kg car, supported over an area of 5.0m2. If the input area is 0.010 m2, what force is needed to lift the car?
From the sounds of it you've blown one of the rear cylinder seals. If you look under from the back at either brake back plate you might see a dark patch where the fluid is leaking out. Wheels and drums off time.
Q: also, I like to watch videos of jeeps off roading. What exactly is happening when the vehicle itself stays level, but the wheels are crooked?
A Suspension lift is usually a kit that has longer springs that puts the body/frame further away from the axles. Which is preferred over a body lift which only seperates the body from the frame. A suspension lift also provides more suspension travel. Which leads me to your next question. What you see those Jeeps doing when the tires move but the body stays fairly level is called flexing or articulation. All suspensions provide this movement but it depends on the suspension design as to how much flex it has.
Q: I‘m interested in buying this lifted Jeep, however, I don‘t off road. Are they still ok for daily use? I just like their badass look, personally.ALSO, what are the pros and cons of a lifted car?
Actually, the *only* thing a lifted jeep is for the badass look, to impress pre-puberty boys or those of limited intelligence. They are a waste of money and ruin a car's drivable. There is no pro, only con -- unless you want to look like a clown in a clown car.
Q: I have a ‘07 Scion tC, and when it was new the hatchback lifted very easily when I opened it. Now it only opens about halfway before I have to push it up manually. I guess the mechanism that does the lifting needs cleaning or lubricating or re-pressurizing, but I‘m not sure if it‘s something I can do myself or if I‘d have to take it to a mechanic. How can I get it to lift like it did when it was new?
you need new lifting mechanism or shocks to help the lift they have clips that hold them on sum part stores will put them on for you
Q: i have a 1984 cadillac eldorado and i want to lift it to be able to fit 22 or 24 rims. can someone tell me how much that lift will cost? there are 2 springs in the rear.in the front has no springs.thanks alot
a lift is not dependent on springs alone, you will need other misc. parts to correct the camber and toe of the tires, you will also have issues with your speedometer because you are upsizing your rims. you are looking at thousands of dollars in parts and labor.
Q: When recovering the car the cop just was really rude then the forensic officer just blew me off he lifted 3 finger prints and was done I had to point out to him the grape faygo can in the back seat and tell him that wasn‘t mine but maybe DNA could be on it. It was almost as if I was bothering him and he was just going through the motions. Has anyone ever been through this where the person was caught because of finger prints and if so how long did it take? It‘s been a full 24 hours since they tooke the prints now.
DNA matches cost money, and anyone with their DNA in a database is going to be someone who already committed a crime far worse than stealing car, and isn't going to be the type who drank Faygo. There are higher priorities for police resources. Was the joy ride car wrecked, or just found abandoned? Finding the car at all is lucky on your part, some cars you'll find but they are torched afterwards.
Q: my car has been impounded, as it was apparently on public highway, the car was covered and the number plates were covered also. Is there anything I can do?
In the UK I suppose the police can lift up covers, so to check the identity of the car. If it was on private property and was covered by sorn then I can't see how they could impound your vehicle, regardless of being covered.
