Q: I am currently looking for a new vacuum cleaner. The old one I've had is falling apart and its being held together by a shoulder strap and duct tape. I am currently looking for a commercial upright or backpack vacuum cleaner but I'm not sure if they are meant for home use. Q: are all motors the same size in kenmore canister vacuums?: I would think not. Look at the specs for vacuums you might be interested in and compare the amps or watts or whatever electrical spec is in vogue this year for vacuum cleaners.

What about you?: As unique and crazy as that sounds, I've never herd of such an activity. If you ask me it sounds rather odd, and pointless. I personally don't like vacuums though, they tend to make a lot of noise pollution and I just can't stand that. I don't know the model of mine since I'm at work but we haven't had any issue with the belt breaking and we've had it for about 7 years and we have two dogs that shed a lot and used to have a cat until 2 years ago. It doesn't have any attachments, just the basic model I think. We don't have any carpet though so that could be the problem for you and the belt if you have carpet. All of our previous vacuums would only last a year or two but this one has been fantastic! It's so light too, a Dyson will be heavier....

You can buy it on the internet very cheap, although buy more then one can at a time as they don't last very long. Just use it in a well ventilated area. Normal vacuum cleaners cause static, you can get special computer ones that don't. A bicycle pump isn't very powerful.

Q: is there a name for fear of vaccum cleaners? because I KNOW i have it! ever since i was an infant i would screem frickin bloody murder in my crib when my mom would run teh vacuum cleaner. when i was jsut a small child i would run from it, afraid it would suck up my toes. and now, today, at 14, i cannot STAND the loud noise they make and i do NOT put my toes in front of one. it takes me a few moments before i can even bring myself to turn it on. the bigger, louder they are, the worse my reactions. sometimes at work (i volunteer at a veterinary hospital) i have to ask one of my co-workers to do it because i will purposly busy myself just to get away from it.please, do not laugh at me. it's embarrassing enough and i just want to know the name of it.thankxx! :]: no name?
