- Q: Exterior wall scaffold construction plan?
- Vertical pole:Double row scaffolding pole, pole top high eaves 1.5m structure. Single tube base for vertical rod bottom. The vertical rod joint is connected with a butt fastener, and the vertical rod and the large cross bar are connected by a right angle fastener. When the joint is staggered, the two adjacent column joints are avoided to be in the same span, and the distance between them is not less than 50cm; the distance between each joint center and the main node is not greater than 60cm.
- Q: i had it done 2/3 months ago, it was fine at first but now on each end i have two lumps on my ear:S there relitavely smal...the size of like a really tiny pea.there really painfull and sore and quite red and sometimes they scab over with yellowy crust [yes i know sounds disguisting]im just a bit worried that its gone all weird or are these normal? am i cleaning it right?
- I had the same situation occur when I got my scaffold/industrial done. I wouldn't be too concerned. The lumps are called hypertrophic scars, and supposedly they are pretty common and are caused by overcleaning, harsh products, or (as I think was my case) general irritation from the jewelry moving repeatedly back and forth through the piercing or being bumped around or rubbed/touched. Mine lasted quite a long time. Try leaving your piercing alone for a couple of days. Then salt water solutions or compresses are supposed to help the lumps to heal, and I also used tea tree oil and neosporine intermittently. Hot compresses like a heated washcloth applied to the area help to reduce the lumps, as well. Sometimes it's recommended to try another type of jewelry, like titanium, or switch temporarily to two separate bars. You might also try finding a really gentle cleanser/soap. I just kept my original piercing, using the above techniques off and on, and after months of the lumps remaining red and sore, they just went away totally. Just keep your eye out for any pussing (hypertrophic scars ooze, but they don't usually pus), increased swelling, and the area feeling very hot- these are signs of infectiona nd you should see your doc right away. Good luck! :)
- Q: so yeah as it says above^should i just wait till it no longer hurts, or do you have to wait a certain amount of time...
- Industrial piercings take 9-12 months to heal completely and you never want to remove an unhealed piercing unless the jewelry is causing problems and at that point it should be done by a professional in a sterile environment. Taking the jewelry out before it is healed could cause it to close up, become infected or irritated, and can cause hypertrophic scarring (scar tissue) to form on your piercing. I took my industrial out after having it for 3 months. It was out for less than a minute and when I went to put it back in it went through the first hole easily but wouldn't go through the top hole no matter how hard I pushed. It immediately started bleeding and hurtling like crazy. Awesome. Waste of time, pain, and money. So, you might get lucky and just have it get a little irritated or prolong the healing time by changing it early. But you could also end up like me or worse, with any infected piercing. Why risk it?
- Q: If I know the length , width and height of the area for the scaffold, how do I calculate the tonnage?
- tonnage is related to the volume of a certain material to be used in a certain project... so as to volume, tonnage is just the volume of the material to be used, given the specifiations in this case, scaffolds. consult your design and count the distribution of the scaffolds to be used.. average ratio of scaffolding tonnage is a ton per 10 square meter... also depends on the quantity of the project.
- Q: would a scaffold piercing look gay on a guy?
- Not gay at all. Plenty of guys have it done.
- Q: ...and I'm not really sure what to expect. I know that everyones healing time and pain tolerence is different but just some personal storys would be nice. And before you say it I am aware that there are risks as there are risks with any piercing. so I'm 17 from London and wondering:How old do you have to be to get it done?Does anyone know a reputable place i can get it done? How much will it be?any experiences to share?
- I haven't had this piercing but i was thinking of getting one i do have an eyebrow ring and seven earrings in each ear and i use to have a tongue ring, your piercing cartilidge so it is going to sting shouldnt be too bad though for me my most painful piercing was my fourth earring hurt after that it wasnt too bad my seventh was a breeze i knew how to take care of it so that it would heal fast and not get infected. you have to daily sometimes twice a day clean it otherwise it gets infected and its been my exerpience that they get infected easy. the healing time for when you pierce cartilidge is twice that of when you pierce your lobe so about 8-12 weeks give or take as far as i know you have to be 18 to get one if your in the US (or 17 with parental consent) not sure what the age would be over in London as for reputable place most tatto parlors do piercings look for a clean place that sterlizes everything very important (again going on US standards) as for the cost not sure was 10 dollars for ear piercing at wal mart but for this kind of ear piercing i would guess 20-30 dollars cause its at leadt 50 for a eyebrow or tongue ring i know that. i hope this helps good luck

- Q: I really want a scaffold piercing and I can pay for it, I get good grades, I do all the chores I have to do, I spoke to them calmly and everything. Yet they still won't let me. My dad said that I will be grounded forever and everything but last time I got grounded, I went to a party the next day so what should I do?
- dont do it. when your parents say grounded, you may be let off easy but if is about your body then if you get it your in deep ****. also your parents could see this question and then you would be in even more trouble. please dont get it. also things like that are really hard to hide from parents. if your 18 years or older llegally they cant stop you from doing it. i dont think you should do it.
- Q: how did they turn the cells into a polymer for the heart scaffold ?
- May have misunderstood. The heart is gently stripped of cells by using a detergent - this leaves the extracelllular matrix - a polymer of collagen - inert and insoluble. New cells (stem cells) will then be added to the structure to repopulate it with living heart muscle which gain coordination and structure from the matrix.
