Secondary UD single conductor 600V cable meets or exceeds the following ASTM specification.
B-230 Aluminum Wire, 1350 H-19 for Electrical Purposes.
B-231 Aluminum 1350 Conductors, Concentric-Lay-Stranded.
UL 854 (for USE-2).
USE-2 cable can be installed in electrical metallic tubing, PVC conduits and other raceways, in free air messenger support or directly buried. - You can use a PS2 male to male cable....kind of like you could use telephone cords from radio shack for the bd remote gain control. $2...plus you'll need a little bit of 8GA wire to tie the amps' outputs together. One gets set to 0 degrees, one gets set to 180 degrees, your gains MUST MATCH, don't do this with power applied anywhere as you'd likely smoke a voice coil. Please know what you are doing, bridging amps is not forgiving and remember each amp is now seeing 1/2 the load, so you could have stability problems if your wired at 2ohms now.

- Do you mean lag as in a slow OS. Well- Where is your SPEEDSTEP set at in your BIOS? You may have 3 or 2 settings which ARE affected when your Cable Power is removed it will go to a Bit Slower Processor Speed to prolong the battery. If after you change the settings in BIOS and it does this again, its likely need to be sent back for repair under Warranty as this is NOT Normal...

- No. However you can easily make your own high end cables buying iec connectors on line or if your gear does'nt have iec connectors, you can solder new cable in to it. I made my own 12 gauge cable with Wattgate interconnects, nice attractive wrap and 12 gauge entension cord I purchased at Walmart (50 feet made me a lot of power cords- cost me $16 for the extension and $10-12 per IEC connector and $16 for 50' of wrap ). Noticeable improvement? No, not at all- but my cable looks just as high end and as pretty as the fancy $100-300 stuff. If your scared of making your own cables, check out OKorder. There is a seller out there offering some really good looking cable ( I think it's 12g-14g ) priced at around $60. The home theater market is BIG business and there are companies out there with so many exaggerated claims about their products that it's mind-boggling. - Check first for any factory made holes that are not in use or have extra space to be used. If you are explorer is anything like my Taurus I would say somewhere near where your steering wheel connects to the firewall. But it will be kinda risky around that area since you would have to be careful for your power steering.
