Tower Crane TC6024 FAQ:
1.What is tower crane?
Tower crane is a modern form of balance crane that consist of the same basic parts. Fixed to the ground on a concrete foundation (and sometimes attached to the sides of structures as well), tower cranes often give the best combination of height and lifting capacity and are used in the construction site.
2. What is the meaning of the tower crane’s code?
Take Tower Crane TC6024 for example, the first two letters “TC” means Tower Crane, “60”means jib length is 60 meter, and the last two letter “24” means the tip load is :2.4 ton.
3. What is the principal to quote the right tower crane to the client?
First, we need to know clients’ requirements, for example, max lifting capacity, height, tip load and jib length.. Second, we need to know what the foundation requirement from the client is and Third if there are special needs. CNBM could suggest proposal according to clear data provided by the clients.
- Q: What are the luffing, slewing, and walking points of a tower crane?
- The luffing of a tower crane is the forearm of a crane;Slewing means the steering mechanism of a crane;Walking means the walking trolley on the luffing range of a crane
- Q: I'm a bit confused as to what happened to him. I guess I skimed a bit at a certain important part of the book. When Seneca Crane's name was written on the dummy during training, why did the people gasp at the name written in berry juice? What happened to him? PS. I am at the begining of Mockingjay. So no spoilers please. (:
- In the end of the first book, he was put in a room with a bowl in the middle. In the bowl, there were berries. Very deadly berries. This is significant because in the arena, Peeta and Katniss threatened the Capitol that they would eat them and kill themselves. If that happened, there would be no victor. President Snow wanted Seneca Crane to kill them. But Seneca Crane let there be two victors, instead of one or none. So, back to the point. Seneca Crane was punished because he couldn't listen to the president's orders. So, he was put in a room with no food, water, etc. If he got hungry he, he had to eat the berries. So, he died. I don't know how you missed that, but I hope this helps! :) I LUV U PEETA!
- Q: how many different types of cranes and winches are there?
- A bit more information might help. In England there are Winches and then there are winches. As for Cranes are we talking about birds.........actually there are only a few type of each.......but there can be quite a few variations of the basic types. let's say 6 types of cranes and 4 or 5 winches.
- Q: Absolutely bs. I hope a crane falls on ALL these effin construction workers and their families and the building executives' heads. Let THEM have family members die or get hurt from these accidents - then they will get what's coming to them. They should all burn in hell. Total greed total total greed. They will pay
- It's not really the construction workers fault. It's the city inspectors!! They take short cuts, sign off on inspections that never happened, all because of greed! Then they can say they inspected them and go home early. Unfortunately it's the innocent residents of these buildings and the construction workers that die while they are at home all snug in their beds!!! That first crane accident should have taught them all a lesson, but evidently it did not. I think whoever was in charge of inspecting that crane should be arrested for manslaughter. The first guy got in trouble, I'm not sure to what extent but it obviously didn't make an impression on the rest of those lazy a**holes!
- Q: well I am making 1000 paper cranes... I am on 18... but how do you string them all together anyone know?
- There should be a tiny hole at the bottom. Thread some colorful embroidery floss onto a needle, poke the needle through the hole in the bottom and straight up through the point at the top (on the crane's back). You can string one after another like this. You'll have to just take a guess on the length of the thread that you'll need, and be sure to knot it on the end. I have dozens of strings that I've made and given to friends like this. If you like, you can separate each crane by a colorful glass bead. It looks really cheerful.
- Q: I've heard of people making 1000 origami cranes as a wedding gift or decoration. I am making them as a gift for my sister-in-law and her husband, whose new baby is due next month. I'm up to 730, so I need to keep plugging away! My question is how should I display them? I've heard of putting them in a gallon jar. I was also thinking of making strings of 100. Do you put the string through the pointy part on the back? Can I arrange them into a mobile? Any ideas would be appreciated.
- What the heck?! One thousand origami cranes?! Whoa! Your fingers must be sore, you poor thing! Good work! I could never have that patience and endurance. This is what to do. Pick a room - any room they use often, like a living room - and swathe the whole thing in white curtains and drapes and tablecloths. Then spread the cranes out. Artistically perch them on shelves and rim the couches with them and arrange them in circle and diamond patterns on the coffee table. Make the whole room a sea of origami cranes, and then put up a big sign in the middle: CONGRATULATIONS! Or you could make a pi?ata. When whacked, the pi?ata will explode into one thousand origami cranes. Or put them all in a bucket on the rim of a door that is slightly ajar. When they fling it open, the buckets will dump a tremendous shower of paper onto their heads! Attach a bucket to a rope so that the buckets don't clank onto their heads and hurt them.
- Q: Please give a scripted answer. Funniest Denny Crane comment and action gets the 10 points
- He had a part in a Brad Paisley music video that was like Denny playing Simon. The video is like American Idol and he is one of the judges and when the song was over he said that is the part of that song I like best, you know the part where it ends.
- Q: Under what circumstances are winches used and under what circumstances tower cranes are used?
- First of all, what you say should be a derrick or a Longmen frame. In any case, the derrick or tower crane should first meet the construction requirements, then the economy and safety requirements. To meet the construction requirements, it is much better to choose the derrick, of course, economically and safely. Derrick is a simple nonstandard equipment. It is easy to install, use and disassemble. It has low running cost and less safety risk than tower crane. The derrick is suitable for construction under 30 meters or less, especially for multi storied buildings and single pieces. The volume and quality are not more than 2 tons.
- Q: i have 5 tower cranes outside my window at different construction sites and they all position their cranes the same direction at the end of the day. is there a reason for this.
- I would think it's wind-related. If they were all pointed differently, one would catch more wind and spin more. If they were close enough, this one may hit another. If they were all pointed the same, this would be less likely (although not guaranteed). They SHOULD be spaced apart sufficiently, though, so during operations there is no chance of hitting another. So, it's more likely because of something on the ground. Maybe at last drop off they were all pointing in the same direction?
- Q: A crane operator was extended his Tadano crane boom(two section of boom out of five) at almost 0 degree boom angle. My question is-Is it safe to lift any load at 0 degree boom angle.
- I suppose Tadano is the manufacturer and they make several models most of which are safe at zero degrees with two sections extended. The weight of the extended cable and hook need to be added to the weight being lifted or lowered, so the allowable weight could be zero for a very long cable. Some safety factor is present, so you may choose to push your luck. A cable that breaks suddenly can whip around in a dangerous manner. If you bend the boom replacement will be very costly. If the boom was bent in a previous lift, it is much weaker than an unbent boom and the extending feature may jam. Neil
