Q: What is tower crane?
A: Tower crane is a modern form of balance crane that consist of the same basic parts. Fixed to the ground on a concrete foundation (and sometimes attached to the sides of structures as well), tower cranes often give the best combination of height and lifting capacity and are used in the construction site.
- Q: Did Noah build the Ark with no power tools, nails, or crane?
- Yes, but it took around 50 years and he had the help of three strong sons.
- Q: i have an echo-1 m8a4 cqb it has a crane stock that fits a 9.6 1500mah battery but it wont fit a 2000mah so i want to switch to a full stock but im haveing trouble figuring out how to switch them. does anyone own this gun and know how to do it?
- Ok, I can help. The first step is to take the crane stock off. To do so, extend the stock fully. Then, take the tab you use to extend it, and instead of pushing up to extend it, pull it down and slide the stock off. It make take some force. Be careful of any wires and that you don't break them! Next: take the buffer tube out. Take a long phillips head screw driver and stick it down the shaft. Remove the screw. The whole tube should come out. Don't lose the screw! Next: Install your stock. Next: Screw the screw back in to secure the stock. Done! Make sure the wires are still ok and that they are not pinched!
- Q: I'm looking for estimate including installation, vertical support beams, and bus bars. Details: rectangular shaped building 500 ft long split lengthwise into two sections. 500ft X 4lengths of craneways is 2000ft. The crane runways are bolted to building frame but are self supporting on I-beams (104 vertical supporting beams X 24ft. height). The crane runways can support 10ton hoists. The bus bars (electrical conductor assembly) run along all (2000ft) of crane runways.
- the only 5'6 girl I know of who did runway was Devon Aoki. Everyone else is at least 5'9+ except Kate Moss who is 5'7.5. The average height for runway is 5'10
- Q: please be specific! thank u so much
- I have no idea Im trying to find that out too!!!
- Q: I'm just curious about it, and i need it for a fan fiction story i'm writing. thanks ^__^
- im not from Japan although my niece studied there so i assume yes in kindergarten school level there's a activity that well teach you how to make Origami or folding a paper crane and stuff like that however not every child in japan knows it about 80% how know and 20% don't for street children, and those who are hate Origamis ;D
- Q: I was just wondering this since I come from Northern Ireland and in Belfast I think they're probably the most prominent landmark but are they actually famous and if you saw them would you know where they were?
- The cranes are iconic in Belfast and Northern Ireland. The company itself is most famously known for the building of the Titanic they also specialize in off-shore construction as well. I would say they are well known in Ireland and in some parts of the UK. They are probably known a bit in England as they were very interested in Belfast's heavy industry in the past. I don't think many people outside of Ireland and the UK would know about the Harland and Wolff cranes tbh. You can see them from many places in Belfast and they are a prominent landmark.
- Q: It got me thinking.
- I have not seen the movie, but I think I saw what you're talking about on a preview. I would think that the safeties involved in the control system for a crane would make it highly unlikely to happen. There is no absolute assurance, only probabilities or likelihoods. You just hope that you have enough failsafes in the system so if one part of the system fails, the others will take over, or shut the whole thing down properly.
- Q: I'm not scared of spiders anymore. If I see one than I can kill it easily, but when I see a daddy long legs crane fly, I freak out! Those things are hugeeee. I could never kill one without being freaked out to death. I heard that they don't even bite, but I'm still scared. There's one in my living room and I ran out. So I planned on staying in my room the whole day and just hope it doesn't show up in the bathroom tomorrow morning when I shower! I'm 14 btw?
- This is a selective entomophobia. Basically, you don't fear many insects or spiders, but specific ones trigger your anxiety. Your problem is not the bugs or spiders,(they are harmless) but your fear. This is something 'you' nurture by dwelling on this fear when you see one of these particular critters. I'm glad to hear you no longer fear spiders. you will see the same when you overcome your selective fear. You may even come to realize that the spiders and insects you do fear, are totally harmless, and you may reach a point where you can just ignore these. True, the crane fly is totally harmless and do not bite, sting, or inflict any form of hazard to humans. They can be a nuisance buzzing around your face,as they can be persistent. Adolescent years seem to be when phobias are the most prevalent, but also the easiest time to overcome fears. If you can learn to control your fear, rather than let it control you, you will overcome this. you also need to refrain from dwelling on your fear,as this will only make it worse. Last year, one of my favorite pass times was sitting on the porch watching the sunset. a little orb weaver would come from behind the light and spin her fancy web. Often, I would catch a crane fly that was bothering me and toss it into her web.
- Q: i have a 100 ton american crawler crane. how do i calculate the psf, for this equipment.
- Not sure what you are asking exactly... Are you saying that you have a crane with a capacity of 100 tons and you want to know the pressure on the soil where the crane is positioned? In this case, you take the capacity (in pounds) plus the weight of the crane (in pounds) then divide their sum by the area of the tracks on the crane (in square feet). This will result in pounds per square foot or psf as you wrote above. These are example estimates, they may not be anywhere near the correct answer, this is simply how to do the calculation. Assumed Capacity 100 ton = 200,000 lbs. Assumed Weight 105 ton = 210,000 lbs. Assumed Area of Track = 200 square feet Note: 1 U.S. ton = 2,000 pounds = 2,000 lbs. 410,000 lbs / 200 square feet = 2,050 psf There's a start, now you just need to find out how much it actually weighs and how long and wide the tracks are to get the area of the track on the ground. I hope that answers the question you were asking.
- Q: What is the allowable range of vertical deviation for tower cranes?
- The verticality deviation range of ZOOMLION tower crane is allowed within 4/1000.
