- There should be piles of curtains everywhere, just ask. As far as hanging them on the wall you don't say what size the bed is. Just buy regular curtain rods, put up two if you need so you can swag them back and hook them. Put a pretty poster or picture in the center. I bought some cheap fabric at a fabric store, cut it and did not sew anything I just wrapped it around some bamboo my husband and I went and cut down. We used the white closet hangers to put the bamboo, or wood stained, in. Then above it we built a 12 shelf all around that wall, it's an actual old house with a whole wall that is a bay window w/ 3 full length windows, like 96 to the floor. I use vinyl blinds. The window treatment has passed muster with a lot of my uppity friends. LOL
