Q:I'm trying to understand a problem in my physics book. The problem is this:A person is pulling on a rope, that is connected to a pulley on the ceiling. The rope then goes to a box with a pulley on it, and then up to the ceiling where the rope is connected (to the ceiling).The rope and pulleys are massless and frictionless.The book lists three forces (tension forces) going up and one weight force pulling down.My question is, why isn't there another force pulling against the tension of the rope from the guy pulling the rope?: well, the person is going to have to pull on the rope, and that will be another force that is not pictured in the book. if you think about it, when a rope is under tension, each end is getting pulled, like a tug of war, otherwise it just moves toward the other force. When the forces are balanced, the rope is in tension and does not move. The forces pictured in the book are tension provided by the weight. The person will have to add a tension force downward to compensate.

Q:Scaffold Piercing Aftercare?Ok, so I was looking into getting an industrial piercing. However, I am very very serious about the aftercare, and I would dread any infection or anything going wrong. So, I was wondering, what are some aftercare cleaning tecniques/methods? I already know that antibacterial soap is good, as is the H20 cleaning spray stuff. And that you are supposed to clean it twice a day. But how and when should I do this? I have school which I can clean it before I go in the morning, but I don't get back until four, and then I take a shower at night always. I know it sounds silly, but are there some tips you have? Thanks!: i love my scaffold/business piercing i do not imagine it hurts yet some human beings say it does Coast round ?25/30 - any more desirable than its a rip off. this is a soreness to heal and takes a lengthy time period! each and every time I knocked mine it swelled and went humorous. extremely stressful. Had it executed 3 cases, 1st time it grew out, second time I only took it out. third time I were given it pierced on my different ear and at the same time as it became healed I replaced it to a versatile bar and for the reason that then this is been suitable. desire I helped.

Q:My mom wouldn't let me get snakebites or cyberbites but she will let me get my scaffold pierced. I know people have different things for pain etc etc I know it will hurt but I want it pierced. So, to someone who has gotten it pierced or knows about it is there anything special you have to do to take care of it or is it just like the ear lobe piercing.: it probably does hurt cuz of your cartilage just put rubbing alchahol on it and it should be okay =)

Q:...and I'm not really sure what to expect. I know that everyones healing time and pain tolerence is different but just some personal storys would be nice. And before you say it I am aware that there are risks as there are risks with any piercing. so I'm 17 from London and wondering:How old do you have to be to get it done?Does anyone know a reputable place i can get it done?How much will it be?any experiences to share?: Hi I got it done a few months ago I love it! Its really not that sore at all just a slight nip and then bit warm afterwards lol! Only thing annoyed me was couldn't sleep on it for a while and that was always the side I slept on! Q:how long should i leave it before i change it, should i do it myself or go to the piercer to they can do it?and is it still normal for the pericing to hurt after quite a while of having it done?: Hi :) You can change it after 4 months usually But sometimes it can take up to a year It depends on the person , everybody's body heals differently You should go back to your piercer and ask if it's healed enough to change the jewellery Yep , it's normal A scaffold piercing goes through the cartilage and cartilage piercings can take up to a year to fully heal :)

Q:Because my friend wants it done but isn't sure :): depends on the state.
