Q: I hate vacuum cleaners because they're so loud and I'm sensitive to loud noises.
My central vac is very quiet. The unit is in the garage. I don't know how easily you can install one in a home that isn't being built.
Q: It could be anything, like staples, but you hear them hitting the insides of the vacuum. It's like a static sound.I think it sounds cool. XD
Heck no. I wish some creative people could invent silent vacuum cleaners.
Q: I've been reading reviews about vacuum cleaners and seemed to sum it all up pretty good about this one.. anybody got experience with the hoover tempo widepath?
Check out Masons they are experts on vacuum cleaners...
Q: I'm looking for a bagless upright to clean my one bedroom apartment that is all hardwood floors. I have a stick vac, but I'd like something with attachments to do furniture and between things. I got a few on black friday, but they are all too loud. I don't have any pets, but I do have long hair. Thanks!
The Shark Retractor Euro-Pro is awesome! It is quiet, very light weight, and perfect for an apartment! You will be very happy and when on sale you can find them for under $60
Q: thinking of buying an LG compressor vaccum cleaner, does anyone have reveiws of this product?
i dont have any idea for this but i will recommend u to go for an eureqa vaccumm clnr its more reliable and provides life time service free with no issues
Q: Do they actually increase the amount of suction or are they simply a marketing ploy we have all fallen victim to?
I was wondering what happened to all the dust if there is no filter. I wonder if it just moves it somewhere else? I am sure it is all about selling selling selling they don't care about the consumers b/c now all vacuums are like $200.+ I remember when they were like $50!
Q: Washing MachinesVacuum CleanersDishwashersDryersElectric IronsHand held hair dryers
I know Maytag was very popular in the 1920s for washing machines. There was still a lot of hand washing with ringers around, but Maytags were becoming more affordable. I'm completely serious here when I say they were run by a gasoline engine. It was mounted under the machine and started with a kick lever. It had to be vented to the outside with flexible exhaust hose. Vacuums have been around since about 1890, but weren't very effective until electricity made them more efficient. Dishwashers became popular in the 1960s, but were so loud you should leave the house for a while, LOL. Hair dryers really took off in a very short time starting in 1972.
Q: Who vacuums in the dark??
I think its so you can see when u r cleaning places with little light such as closets with no light and under tables and couches and stuff
Q: I have a one-year old and lots of crumbs on my floor that our vacuum won't pick up. We currently have a bag less Bissell and I hate it. We've replaced all the filters and cleaned it but it still hardly picks up a thing. It leaves little hair balls on our carpet and kicks dust back in the air. I have to open the windows every time I vacuum so we can breathe! We're looking to get a new vacuum and I am interested in any brand and reviews you can recommend. My parents have had an Electrolux for 10+ years and it works great. However, the price tag ($500) is a little much for me. I'd also rather not go bag less again. Any suggestions?
I have a Dyson and wouldn't recommend it. Lots of money for a cheap piece of plastic. The brush doesn't get into the carpet, just skims the surface. As far as suction goes, I have a kenmore that does a better job and contains the dust. The Dyson dust catcher is messy to empty and dust flies wherever you empty it. Also, the Dyson requires constant maintenance in removing pet hair attached to the brush and through the chambers. Hair and dust don't always make it to the chamber. If you have any problems with the Dyson, (mine broke after 6 months of use) you have to send it off and wait 4 - 6 weeks for it's return. My suggestion to you is buy a hepa filtered vacuum with or without bags. You'll save money and get a better built product.
Q: It's $199 Cnd., and there's a $249 pet dust model, too. 24 cyclone tech, 17 ft. stretch hose, furniture attachments. Not to be confused with the earlier Shark models. It promises to do same job as competition twice the price, but y'know....Vacuum Cleaners.I just don't feel like doing the 'buy, try, and return' routine, so opinion from someone will be appreciated.
Would like to know, too .. been seeing the commercials, and wondering how it compares to a Dyson. I have the Dyson Animal, and it's fantastic and easily the best vacuum I've ever owned in terms of suction and what it can get out of the carpet, but of course very expensive. Infinity seems like the same design with more cyclones, and they use the same tagline. Methinks Dyson and the Infinity may be one and the same.
