Q:I see crane flies everywhere but I've never seen them eat anything.
Occasionally, its larvae will feed on mosquito larvae. Crane fly larvae mostly feed on roots of forage crops, turf grasses and seedling field crops.
Q:how do i make the paper crane from prison break?
The okorder /, you have to go to Contents and then choose your animal or figure, then go to Diagrams, at this point a Pdf-file will open, which you can easily save. I saved all of them and then followed his instructions step-by step...it's not easy but it's a lot of fun. If you want to know more about this art you can just tipp the word origami on Google and you'll find lots of tutorials that will help you. I googled myself and I found the above-mentioned site one of the best! Lots of luck and have fun!!
Q:How much does it cost to build 18, 22, 35, 40, 50, 70, 100, and 120 ton cranes?
You would have to contact the crane manufacturer. Each size would have different cranes that meet that requirement, eg portable versus not portable. That's assuming those are total crane weight numbers? Or are they lifting capacities?
Q:What is the easiest way to transport vertically? What is applicable? What is the difference between tower crane and tower crane?
Vertical transportation can be done with elevators, construction lifts, and Longmen racksTower cranes and tower cranes are one thing
Q:Iv done some research and I cant seem to find a place that might sell jibs locally here in Phoenix. Iv been considering the ProAm DVC 200 crane but I would also like to see others in like a store. If anyone has any info it would be appreciated!
I went down that path last year in the SF Bay Area in California. I could not find a store that carried any cranes or jibs - so I just started asking around. Stay away from any that use cables to keep the stage steady - we used one at a shoot - setting up is an interesting challenge. I thought I wanted the same unit you are looking at - and decided I needed to trust the crane a bit more with my HDR-FX1... I had to wait longer to save more $, but I really like the crane and tripod kit I ended up with... from Kessler Crane... I never got to see it before I bought it and I was, um... nervous... but I am glad I made the investment - and Eric Kessler is REALLY helpful and great to work with. One of the other cranes I looked at uses a heavy duty PA speaker stand as its tripod base. After watching light trees and PA speakers fall over because of leg failure, I could not bring myself to trust them to hold my camcorder. I can STAND or JUMP on the Kessler tripod and it does not budge. It is rock-steady and really strong. The Hercules head is silk-smooth and the crane-arm and camera stage are steady and easy to manipulate. After a little practice, it now takes me about 10-15 minutes from the time I start unpacking until I am ready to start shooting. That includes mounting the camcorder, setting the counterweights, mounting a portable DVD player with AV-in as the monitor mounted to the tripod-head so I can see what the camcorder is shooting and running the AV, headphone and LANC cables and making the whole thing pretty with velcro strips.
Q:can somebody give me good info on this. its a martial art im very interested in leaning and i would like some background info on it first thx
No. You can make an argument that some body type may find it easier, but to say a particular style of martial art is only for one body type (tall skinny) is ridiculous. My White Crane teacher was barely 5'5 and thin, and he had no problem whipping my classmates who are in the 6' height range. Don't worry about your size. Forget the video and find a teacher. Crane is good, but so is any style that is taught by a good instructor. Besides, you are 15 and still have at least 5 more years of growth. If you start now, by the time you reach your max height, you will have been training at least 5 years and I'll bet anything your height is not going to be a concern for you.

Q:what kind of material is used in making of crane and what is the making process of crane.
There are so many kinds of cranes that you need to pick one to get any kind of good answer - the tall T shaped cranes are simply welded up from tubing and barstock into modular sections that will fit on a semi trailer and be hauled to the site. Their structure shows in the photos. A boom crane with telescoping boom has to be made up of welded tube sections with bearings and hydraulic pistons inside and out. And of course, the base of a moveable crane adds a whole series of complications.
Q:my HSAP prep teacher wants us to find instructions on how to make an oragami crane. She said that it has to be less than 24 steps.I have looked on the internet and I cannot find anything.I need this by tomorrow. Please help!
Start with a square piece of paper. You got that? Fold the paper corner to corner to get a large right triangle, and fold it corner to corner again to get a smaller triangle. You got that ,or did I lose you. Open the paper, and you will see a big X. Never mind the X. We will come back to it. Now fold the paper side to side to get a rectangle, and fold the two SHORT SIDES to the X fold. Open and do the other two by repeating what you just did. Open the paper FLAT. You can now see a 4 pointed star. Along the four sides of the square, push down on the perimeter of the star to make the star come up. Fold down until you have a flat KITE. Make sure you have 2 flaps on each side. What you are looking at now is one wing, and the other one is in the back. The neck and head are inside the wings. Pull them out half way to expose them. Fold one side at the tip to make a head. If you did everything correctly, and hold under the neck with one hand and pull the tail with the other hand, the crane should flap its wing. Write back if you need more help.
Q:I currently have 1999 origami paper cranes. And I haven't made my 2000th yet because I don't know what to wish for :3So I wanna know...Do you have to make your wish right on the 1000th one? Or can you make the 1000th one and save it until you think of something good to wish for.I'm serious. :3
wait, you folded 1999 paper cranes and you still didn't have enough time to come up with a wish? I recommend that you wish to become more decisive...
