Q:Discussion on Positive and Negative Impacts on Mobiles Phones. Please help me :D
Plus side, anyone can get hold of you at any time Down side, anyone can get hold of you at any time Depending on how you use it, they're great If you don't want to be interrupted, turn it off. Great for emergencies though if you're stuck somewhere or stranded or in a sticky situation. Can be bulky to carry around, and if you go out drinking, you may lose it somewhere Over here (UK), people were killing for mobile phones a few years ago, so try to be discreet when using it. Down side, they can be a huge distraction, especially if you're driving. It's up to you and how you use it, if you're fairly sensible with it, they're great and an important tool. If you learn where the power button is, they're not as intrusive as they can be
Q:I was planning on buying a cell phone from t-mobile, the motorola cliq xt. i was gonna buy the phone with a 2 year contract since it's cheaper, but i noticed the cheapest plan is $39.99. I also noticed that once i click the plan, it brings me to a services page where it says required services are android and T-Mobile Android Unlimited Web. do i REALLY need the unlimited web plan or can i just buy the phone/39.99 plan? the unlimited web plan is $30 alone so it would cost 69.99/month. this is my first phone with an actual plan(currently mine is pre-paid), so i don't know much about them. thanks for any input!
i recommend staying with prepaid. with that said, yes, most of there phones require an unlimited data plan for 30 dollars. and it's not just t-mobile that requires it, verizon is the same way. i say it's just another way for phone companies to get more money. i have straight talk and i love it. it's prepaid and it runs on the verizon network so it has great service. for 30 dollars a month you get 1,000 minutes, 1,000 text/picture messages and 30 MB of data or for 45 dollars a month you get unlimited everything. there's no roaming fees. unlimited calls to 411 at no extra charge, where on other providers it could cost any where from 1.29 to 1.99 for a 411 call. but that's up to you. i have had service with verizon postpaid, t-mobile, tracfone, net10, straight talk, verizon prepaid, t-mobile prepaid, u.s. cellular postpaid and i have to say prepaid wins. contracts really suck. yes the phones are nicer, but unless you pay full retail for the phone and not sign a contract, i don't recommend going with a postpaid account. good luck deciding.
Q:i have a metro pcs razor phone, but i don't want it anymore. target has a virgin mobile phone that i want and i was wondering if metro pcs can transfer that virgin mobile phone into a metro pcs phone?please help!thanks in advance! ;]
Frankly, I am not convinced
Q:i have t-mobile and i'm due for an upgrade soon.i wanna get a cheap but quality phone [nothing over $100] with a camera, and preferably a slider.anyone have any suggestions of phones to get or not to get? thankss ;]
touch screens and some blackberrys freeze a lot try to stay away from those. t-mobile dash is cool or go att and get the phone unlocked for like $20.
Q:i am getting a new cell phone through t mobile sometime soon and i was wondering what you think the best one would be to get?
If you are getting a new contract or extension then i would get one of the following. Free- RIZR 0-$50- Shadow- Copper (Sage gets dirty easily) 51-$100- Dash 101- $150- Sidekick 151-$200- Blackberry Curve 200+- G1
Q:can anyone help me unlock my sony ericsson j100i mobile phone?
you can go to any cellphones stores and ask because i know some stores don't do that and it cost around $20 to 50$ depend on the store price or ur phone.
Q:after all the accidents that have been caused by using mobile phones is it not time the goverment put a complete ban on hand held and hand free mobile phones in all vehicles, after all before mobiles there was no problem
I don't think banning use of mobile phones in vehicles is the answer.Making sure that you use hands free devices and or speaker phone is a better solution. Most accidents happen when people aren't paying attention whether talking on the phone, looking down to change the channel or CD on the radio, eating, doing makeup, changing inside the car, taking care of the crying baby in the back seat. I fully agree that they should have hands free devices in every car or hell now days you can have a phone built into your car and buy minutes for it. It is a proven fact that having a cell up to your ear when driving affects you like you were drunk. With a hands free device it is just like talking to a passenger.
Q:Basically I've had my current mobile for a good few years now and I've been saving up for a new one. I'm not too bothered about networks but I think I'm looking for a contract phone. There's obviously the choice between a blackberry and an iphone, but I have no idea what's a good deal and what's not? And also any other types of android mobiles which are really good? I prefer qwerty keyboards but if anyone can suggest a good touchscreen one that would be good too. I'd like to have internet access and app downloads, but I don't want to be spending something crazy like ?35 per month aha. Please help I'm completely lost with all these deals and mobile phones :)

Q:i just got this boost mobile motorola i475 i was wondering does this phone play youtube videos. Ive downloaded opera mini already but everytime i try to play a vid on youtube it will say protocol not supported. so can i get this phone to play youtube vids or what?
The Motorola i475 is too old of a cell phones. It is what we call a WAP phone. It can't access any internet website like a desktop can. The internet on this cell phone is more of text and menus like when the internet was more of menus and numbers. It won't be able to play videos or anything like that. Even Boost Mobile won't even activate this cell phone. As you know Boost Mobile is getting rid of any cell phone that uses the IDEN network. The cell phone Motorola i475 is a IDEN network phone since it has that walkie talkie feature. Boost Mobile will no longer support IDEN cell phones but only use CDMA network. So this cell phone is obsolete. All their cell phones on Boost Mobile website only use CDMA network.
Q:Could someone please state some real life applications for Mobile phones and PDA's. Cant find any on the web thanks!
My girlfriend bought this phone online and 1 week later it broke and the guy who sold it too her said it was her fault she didn't take care of it. I don't recommend you buying it
