- I have Boost Mobile and I purchased the Motorola i335 and am very unhappy with it. It's terrible for text and has a short battery charge. The small display on my phone is very scratched already with just normal use. I tried to return the phone in the first week after I purchased it with no luck. I have the 50. Unlimited plan and added 10. for unlimited international text. No one else I've found offers unlimited international text. Boost has the best plan I've found but poor service quality and the Motorola i335 is not a good phone. I know this does'nt answer your question but may be helpful.

- Android phones can't be used on Assurance Wireless, unfortunately. Assurance Wireless only lets you use (some) other Virgin Mobile phones, not including their Android phones (or Blackberry).

- The first one is the company asking you to acknowledge that you did in fact order a phone. The second one is probably the phone is being held up waiting for the acknowledgment letter to return. Is probably standard practice for some companies to do this. It's actually for your safety as much as theirs (making sure someone else isn't ordering a phone on/with your name).

- Well I have virgin mobile and to change your area code or full number is free and must be done over the phone with a different phone, also there are no roaming charges for virgin. If you are in a different state it works the same (been there done that) there are no charges for anything you do not add to your phone and NO you can't get your money back unless you have not used any minutes on the phone, I just went through this last month but I didn't use any minutes and was refunded. Virgin mobile is not like most pay as you go phones there is no roaming fee and you can't do anything if you do not have money to pay for it in your top-up. Just call VM or keep the number. It will be about $160.00 for the phone then $35.00 a month for unlimited text, data, and mobile web with 300 minutes talk time. Is there a better deal for a blackberry anywhere else? And not that expensive if you keep a watch of your budget. ATT, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc. Are nice cell phone companies to start out with if you live in America. You don't even have to buy a cell phone for the web and games. You can just have one to make calls and text. Go to a cell phone company and they'll walk you through what you want to have unlimited and limited minutes on. They'll also explain what kind of brand and model the phone is that you want to buy.
