Q: i am indian come to perth soon! i am confused what mobile phone i should bring, i mean frequency type?
These are the frequency's that the Australian carriers use on their mobile phone networks. Note that Telstra only uses 850 on their 3G network which means a lot of phones do not work with Telstra's 3G. Hutchison 3G Australia Pty Limited - 3G 2100 Singtel Optus Limited (YES OPTUS) - GSM 900/1800 Singtel Optus Limited (YES OPTUS) - 3G 2100 Telstra Corporation Limited (Telstra MobileNet) - GSM 900/1800 Telstra Corporation Limited (Telstra MobileNet) - 3G 850 Vodafone Pacific Limited - GSM 900/1800 Vodafone Pacific Limited - 3G 2100
Q: For Christmas I got a T-Mobile Sidekick Id cell phone. Is it possible for me to transfer my Sprint Samsung Rant Sim card into my T-Mobile sidekick?
As stated before, Verizon and sprint are CDMA vendors and are in step with different technologies from the GSM vendors like t-cellular. they don't use sim enjoying cards and does not also have a place to place one. What telephone is it in any case? i'm unable to think of of any element extremely warm popping out for sprint or Verizon that the two hasn't already hit between the GSM vendors or quickly will. The CDMA vendors are notorius for having fairly out dated telephones. a super variety of the better cellular makers concentration on GSM because of the fact thats what the the remainder of the international makes use of. they might positioned out a CDMA telephone here or there yet by way of that element you may desire to of already gotten the remote places version for between the GSM vendors and its many times a extra perfect telephone in any case.
Q: Do Vodafone mobile phones support Telstra sim cards
Yes if the phone was bought on a pay-as-you-go basis, if you bought under contract, then it will be locked, but you can get it unlocked at any mobile phone shop.
Q: I am going to Europe (I begin in London) and I would like to rent a mobile phone that I can take with me throughout my travels and return at my end point (London)
I think you can take your own mobile phone and purchase a SIM card there. At least you can do that in Asia.
Q: What is the English language of the phone?
Your telephone charge is overdue, please renew it,thank you!
Q: Can anybody tell me if any of these T-Mobile phones can go on the internet for free through a wi fi connection using a wireless router?Nokia 5310Nokia 5610Nokia 6301Blackberry Pearl 8100Blackberry Pearl 8120Motorola ROKR E8If anyone has tried any of these phones, do any of them have slow internet if they even have it, or do you get a pretty fast, decent connection, or does it just depend on how fast your internet and router is? I've checked the T-Mobile website and tons of other sites and still can't figure it out. If a phone has Hotspot @ home service, then does that guarantee that it can also go on the internet through a wi fi connection using a wireless router for free?
Are these all T-mobile branded phones? If so, going to the Tmobile website should yield you results for each phone. It will specifically say WiFi capable if the phone has such capabilities. Off the top of my head, the Blackberry Pearl 8120 is the only one I know that has WiFi enabled. The 8100 regular does not. Again, you would have to look at each phone specifically and see if it's capable. If these are phones 1year old or more, then chances are they are not. If they're not Tmobile specific phones, you would have to go to the provider's website and look it up. Even if they're not Tmobile phones, you can use WiFi. I have the Blackberry Curve and the internet isn't as FAST as the iPhone but it's still pretty fast. I don't have much waiting times, especially using WiFi. If you subscribe to the Hotspot thingy, you can use the WiFi pretty much in any Tmobile hotspot and the best part is if you make phone calls in those wifi areas, it's FREE. Yup. Doesn't count off your regular minutes plan. And yes it's a guarantee that you'll get wifi if you're subscribed, unless your router dies or something.

Q: A message has been posted on my mum's workplace notice board saying that if you don't have a mobile phone signal dialing 112 will still connect you to the emergency services.Does anyone know if this is true or a hoax? I have found something online about it but it was from 6 years ago. If anyone has a link to any mobile phone company's website in the UK that says it's false which I can print off for my mum to take to work would be appreciated.Thanks.
if there is no signal then no it won't work. If it's just out of credit then it will work on the emergency number
Q: I want to know if you get a virgin mobile phone in America can it get transfered to the Canadian network. So if i were to buy a wildcard could I use it in Canada but be under the Canadian network??
No. Sorry , but there are Virgin Mobiles all around the world. They all use different phone technologies. France, UK, South Africa and Australia Virgin Mobiles all use sim card phones called gsm. Gsm networks can use any sim card in any phone if it is unlocked first. India, USA and Canada use a non sim card phone technology called cdma. Each network can only use its own phones. VM Canada is owned by Bell. VM USA is owned by Sprint (as of yesterday's buyout announcement). Neither company will let phones from one side go to the other. So no VM Canada phones can run on VM USA either. If you want true phone choice and freedom , stick with gsm phones which come with sim cards. Anther bonus over cdma is that they can be used in any country in the world, cdma cannot.
