- Q: I have an old mobile phone Nokia 3120 (the 1st series of Nokia model/phones as in super old) I want to extract ALL the SMS messages received and sent messages especially the DELETED received sent ones, do you know any mobile phone software I can use to extract ALL the SMS messages in my phone? or do you think I can go direct to Nokia and ask them to do the extraction??
- There exist quite a few software's to recover deleted SMS messages from SIM cards and phone memory, but all of them require you to purchase the software, However, if you own a Nokia phone you might be in luck, as there are very good chances of message recovery from your cellphone without need of any specialized data recovery software for free, simply follow the step-by-step procedure below for important data recovery: 1)Download(see the source) and install the free mobile File Manager - FExplorer. 2)Launch FExplorer and navigate to C: if you use Phone Memory to store your messages (default) and D: if you use Storage Card as your SMS storage location. 3)Now navigate to and open “system” folder. 4)Now open the “mail” folder. 5)This folder should contain many folders named similar to 0010001_s etc. with files named similar to 00100000 etc., These files are the actual deleted messages, Simply, use the FExplorer inbuild text viewer to view these files, You will need to browse through every folder and open all files inside them until you get the required SMS. 6)Do Note that this trick does not work on Symbian 3rd Edition cellphones. I hope this helped.
- Q: I have a Boost Mobile phone and I want to delete the messages that I already read in the inbox. Is there a way to do this?
- By hitting the delete button. Or options delete. There has to be some kind of options menu, you know where you hit Reply and Forward it should be in there. Play around with it and hit buttons and see what happens. Don't forgot just because it's a Boost Mobile Phone doesn't tell anyone what kind of Phone it is. Like Samsung Neon, LG Bold, Nokia Plur, etc.
- Q: Telecom phone can not access the Internet
- Set the problem, then re-set the access point, network type;
- Q: I have been given a second-hand mobile phone. To my knowledge this phone has never left England, so am amazed that 'My Network List' has histories of Swisscom anad many others that I recognise as European or even American telecom groups. How is this?
- i think basically,phones from foreign nations have an inbuilt sim-card that can auto detect available netwoks.have u started using the phone?if not then i think u should consult a qualified person for breaking the seal of the sim card.only then u will be able to access the indian netwoks.the sim card must be holding the list of the netwoks from england and america.tats what is the list you are talking about in the my networks list.
- Q: I can I read sms, and see call logs on someones mobile phone? using my pc or my mobile phone?
- you can not unless you had tracking app installed on the target phone.
- Q: A message has been posted on my mum's workplace notice board saying that if you don't have a mobile phone signal dialing 112 will still connect you to the emergency services.Does anyone know if this is true or a hoax? I have found something online about it but it was from 6 years ago. If anyone has a link to any mobile phone company's website in the UK that says it's false which I can print off for my mum to take to work would be appreciated.Thanks.
- A mobile phone is a radio device. Hence, if there is really no signal at all, it cannot work: it cannot communicate with the base station, for any purpose. On the other hand, when the network is overloaded the system will often refuse normal calls and prioritise emergency numbers. When this happens my phone shows 'Emergency only' - if it says 'No signal' it is totally out of contact. It is possible that some phones are programmed to show 'No signal' when they will still accept emergency calls. Check with your provider.
- Q: I bought this cool mobile phone and i want to set it up for gprs im using mtn and vodacom i calld mtn and they say i must set it manually by the technicians. any one who know how to set it manualy please help i want to browse the internet. im in south africa
- first u have to tell about the model or company of the phone but if not then follow these easy steps may be this work Select a Frequency Band to Activate GPRS Step 1Access the phone's settings from the phone's main menu. Note: In countries outside of the United States or North America, you typically need to use the 900 MHz/1800 MHz frequency to get a GPRS signal from one of the mobile providers in another country. Step 2Click the Network option from the menu that appears. Step 3Select Band to begin the band selection. Step 4Click on the band option that you want to activate a GPRS connection, such as 850/1900, 900/1800 or automatic if you are uncertain of the GPRS band. Step 5Turn the device off and then back on if it does not automatically select the band and you have selected the automatic option. Create a Network Connection to Activate GPRS Step 1Access the main menu on the phone to get to the settings menu. Step 2Click Network, and then Network Setup (which usually appears as an option but depends on your model of phone). Step 3Select Manual or Automatic. Note: You want to set your phone's option to Automatic so you can establish a GPRS connection with your mobile provider. However, select Manual if you want to choose a different network. Step 4Make sure that your phone connects and you can begin to make calls. Reset the Phone to Activate GPRS Step 1Pull the battery out of your phone while it is turned on. Note: It is necessary to reset your phone at times if there are network glitches or coverage issues. This will re-establish your connect with a mobile provider's network. Step 2Wait approximately 30 seconds, then re-insert the battery. Step 3Press and hold the red Power button on your phone to turn it on. Step 4Make sure that your phone displays the GPRS icon in the status bar to verify you are reconnected with your network.
