- Q: I have a 97 Wrangler soft top - plastic windows. What is the best way or product to use? I can barely see out my windows!
- soap and water is the best thing to use a very light detergent soap. do not use any kind of windex or something smiler as it will turn y our plastic brown. you can go and get some plastic cleaner and use but soap and water is just as good and allot cheaper.

- Q: I rent a townhouse that has very old windows.. LL will not replace them so im thinking of puttng plastic over the wndows.. we are not aloud to put plastic outside.,. Can anyone tell me..should it be thick plastic? should i staple it? or just tape? when i lay on my bed or couch i can feel the draft and the curtans move.. these wndows are terrible!! any help on the whole insulating thing would be great.. i hate having my heat on 78 just to be somewhat warm cause all the cold ar is still blowng in.. for some reason the heating vents are close to the wndows.. defeats the purpose if you ask me..
- If you where one of my Dad's kids, this is exactly what he would tell you to do. Go To the Hardware Store ,get some Window Weatherproofing Clear Sheets. Those are made and supplied to the stores by Maclainberg Duncan,or MD company.You just put the clear sheets onto the glass and using a blow dryer,they shrink to make an exact fit. Very effective. - Q: There have been news reports that broken glass is falling from condo apartments. They are coming from glass window installments. I want to know if condo buildings ever build their windows with plastic.
- In all the years I've worked as an agent, I have yet to see a condo that uses plastic windows. All windows I've seen are glass, even in 1970s condos. I have never heard news reports of broken glass falling from condos. If that happens, obviously an incident has taken place, but it's not a reflection on the material or the installation quality.

- no ideal, just know it keeps the cold air out. it might tell u on the package u buy.
- Q: ...even when washing it? And I live in San Diego, not like in TX where the cling probably would bake into the window. But the windows are tinted, so it would have to be on the outside. The cling is about 6quot; in diameter.
- I would think it may stick, but it would probably fall off due to the bumpiness of driving, plus when you wash it, it will make it fall off. If your windows are tinted, I wouldn't even mess with it because it may cause a discoloration, but I am not positive. I hope this helps you some! Btw, I love window clings too! :)

- they can do it --they have to remove the top-remove the stitching from old window and remove window-sew in window- replace top on car--this is NOT cheap but still cheaper than new top=--look for about 400 buck charge--shop all the auto upholstery shops in your area first--talk to your friends -talk to people in auto industry that have used any shops--you are naturally looking for someone that can do the job and do it efficiently and correctly- and at the lowest price==most shops operate on the cheap,good,fast idea--you can have any 2 of these statements--cheap and good not fast--you get the idea
- Q: In my bedroom I have an arc-shaped window over the regular window. There are plastic grids between the panes of glass for decoration. One of them fell to it's side. Is there a way to fix this without replacing the window? Thanks!

- Q: I'm moving out of my apartment in a couple weeks and i have these plastic-like window blinds around the place. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get these things clean without taking them down? They're supposed to be white but I'm noticing a couple yellowish-brownish stains on them. I've tried all sorts of chemicals to try and get these things cleaned. No luck at all.
- I have the same problem with mine. I've tried everything! Cleaning products you use to clean the kitchen and floors, vinegar, bleach, Oxiclean, etc... Nothing I've tried has even faded the stains. I have finally given up and believe the only way to get rid of the stains, is to replace the blinds with new ones.
- Q: I have a plastic windshield that I want to tint, but have run into some problems. I tried getting a tint shop to place a film over it, but the surface was too curved. Is there another method that I can try? Is there any kind of spray or dye? Also, I would like mirror tint. Is that possible? The plastic can flex a little, so it has to be able to withstand that.I don't have to worry about whether or not the tint complies with the law. So, there are no restrictions.
- If it's plastic, you can spray tinted clearcoat over it. Some films should work. It's what people do when tinting tail lights.
