- Ok, please note the following: MB/s = MegaBYTES per second Mb/s = MegaBITS per second 10MB/s = 100Mb/s (roughly) Your router and NIC card is 100Mb/s (unless they are both Gigabit - Gb/s which will give you roughly 100MB/s in speed assuming both the NIC and router can support that speed.) It comes with a cable to convert 2 molex cables into 1 six pin pci power cable. Problem is, is that dont have any molex cables available. I have 4 SATA power cables. - Wire is wire. The only difference is the insulation color. The biggest problem in using wire with the same color insulation is that it's really easy to get them reversed. And just one fraction of a second of reversed polarity and the amp power supply (maybe other things too) is fried. If you insist on using the same color, you should slip a short piece of shrink wrap onto the end of the negative wire close to the terminal so it can be readily identified.

- First, examine the vehicle for an existing penetration in the firewall that provides access to the engine compartment from the passenger compartment. If there isn't one, you will need to drill a hole in the firewall. Make sure you are not drilling into any wires or vehicle components and then drill an appropriately sized hole through the firewall. Place a rubber grommet in the hole and then thread the wire through the grommet. Try to find a grommet that fits snuggly on your amp power cable so it will help to keep the drilled hole as water tight as possible. Also drill the hole so that the grommet fits snuggly as well, don't drill it too big. Make sure to secure your power cable inside the engine compartmentso it isn't loose. Good luck!
