- Basically a thick wire behaves as a lot of thin wires. Comparing one thin wire to a whole bunch, it is easy to see a difference. How this is explained in simple terms is that there are more paths for the electrons to take in a thicker wire, instead of them all being forced though the same space in the thin wire. You could compare it to cars on a motorway, the more lanes there are the more cars will be able to travel on it. A single lane would get blocked up if all cars in say four lanes tried to travel down it. Hope that explained things clearly!

- my friend you need a tester which is very cheap, every electrician have that, you need it if you into electronics. mainly what you do is that you connect one end with the body or negative and the other with different wires with the car on /battery on and if the light lit up and off when you turn the car off then you got the yellow wire. red should have the constant power.

- Q:i just bought a 97 jeep wrangler..the soundbar isnquot;t hooked up. I pulled the carpet back and found the following: a red wire connecting the soundbar to under the dash (probably power), and a black wire connecting the soundbar to metal. there are 4 small wires unattached to anything coming from the soundbar, and a red and white sound wire coming from under the dash (actually has plugs like on a tv surround system), and a ground wire all unattached. how can i hook this mess up to make the soundbar work. i do have sound coming from the front dash speakers. thanks for help.
