Thanks for the input!: We just purchased a new carpet for our home, I had never purchased one new before either. The one we got was a Mohawk brand with stain guard on it. Make sure the seller at the carpet place explains the yarn count to you too. This makes a big difference in carpet. Also when buying a padding for underneath the carpet, we bought a platinum one because of the high traffic here and we wanted a little cushion on the floors.

Q: I stay at my current apartment for 8 years, the carpet is not in good condition. The landlord just sent someone to do carpet wash, but refused to replace it. I am wondering if there is any law/regulation regarding how often the carpet needs to be replaced at the landlords/owners expense. Or any way I can request him to replace?Thank you.: I'm in FL and every 2-3 years or every new tenant where the former tenant has been there for one year then a new carpet is installed and the cost of that carpet is about $300 for a one bedroom place. I too have lived in an apartment for many years and have not changed it but only to keep my rent down. They said they would not replace it unless i removed some boxes which I refuse to do that, so they haven't come in to change mine. It is possible for a horse to get a foot caught in a rug if he were to lie down and/or roll. If the rug rips right away, he could be ok, but the straps are usually made of nylon and do not give way easily. The potential for injury is actually quite large. However, if you keep the blanket straps tight enough, this should keep the horse from being able to get a foot caught in the straps in the first place. A lot of people leave the straps way too loose. They don't need to be as tight as a girth, but they shouldn't hang down either.

Q: Okay, so i spilled sweet and sour sauce all over my living room carpet today. I grabbed a bottle of Zout and started spraying it all over the spot, grabbed some paper towel, rubbed the carpet and dabbed the liquid up. then i sprayed febreze and vaccuumed it.
