Q: I have acctually been asking this question for a number of years and have to admit that I am more interested in peoples reaction to the question than in a prosaic answer. However I wouldn't be oppossed to a definative answer from someone who builds the things. Just because I find it a silly place for a headlight doesn't mean theres not a valid reason for it being there.: Here's the honest answer, disregard all of the nonsense answers people have been giving you, there just here for the points. The true answer is that vacuums have lights to give the dirt and dust a fighting chance to get away. When they see the light coming they run n hide under the couch. Now if you don't believe me, just lift your couch n see if the dirt n dust isn't hiding there. One last fact people probally didn't know is that dirt n dust can't hear, no matter how loud the vac is. Thank god for those lights eh?

Q: i bought this new vacuum (dyson ball) one and felll in love with it :D am i the only guy out there who loves to vacuum? its powerful (sucked in my headset) it makes that loud motor noise, it sucks and u hear it go like gurrgurrgurrr and you can seee everything collecting through the little window :D its awesomee i love it!: All guys like machines. Particularly when we can see the parts working and doing their thing. Nothing wrong with liking a vacuum cleaner. I can't say I particularly LIKE mine, but I like to live reasonably clean, so it's a tool that takes me there.

Is it dead now or is there a possibility it will crawl right out?: In order to use a spider killer effectively, a person must first identify the hiding places of these creatures. Spiders have a liking for dark and warm areas like, wall cracks, closets, air vents, basements, cellars, attics, etc. The cracks need to be sealed properly and all hiding places destroyed. The house must be routinely cleaned with attention being given to areas susceptible to infestation of spiders. People can use vacuum cleaners for instantly killing the spiders on the spot. It must be remembered that spiders spin their webs on things / clutters kept in an unkempt manner. Hence these spots ought to be arranged at the earliest. Apart from the natural spider killers, chemical killers are available too. But the chemical spider-sprays often contain toxic constituents which if consumed mistakenly can have fatal consequences. Hence these sprays should be administered as the ultimate resort, when all eco-friendly methods have failed to deliver satisfactory results.

Q: has anyone used one of those automatic vacuum cleaners??: Yes, they only work decent on wood floors,and it takes them a very long time to do the job, you can do it yourself in a fraction of time compared to how long it takes the robot to do it and some time it won't get the whole area, justs keeps on cleaning the area it just went over, I think they are worthless, just a novelty devise.I'll sell you mine if you really want one (LOL) oh... and they are worthless on tiled floors.
