Q: In the last three months I have purchased two separate vacuum cleaners from Wal-Mart.....granted they were cheap...but they were also all I could afford. They have both stopped working...the most recent one I got worked great for about a week ( it cost 40 bucks)..and now it gets so clogged up every time I use it, that its pointless to even try...and it leaves black marks all over my carpet, I have to stop and unclog the hose after only doing half a room....plus it isnt even picking n e thing up!!! I am so fed up.....I can't afford an Orek or a Hoover....is there a cheap vacuum that wont quit on me??? Price range from 50-80 dollars????......Please help!!!
There is no good vacuum you're going to get in that price range, sorry to say. I got the Eureka Boss SmartVac at Wal-mart for $138. I've had it for 4 years and it still works like brand new. It does a great job and it was so worth it! Consumer Reports rated it a Best Buy, better than Dyson. I know this is more than you want to spend, but you usually get what you pay for. Hope this helps. Good luck!
Q: Please recommend a good & cheap vacuum for carpets and rugs.?
The best vacuum I have ever bought is my Oreck. It's light weight and I can carry it anywhere and the suction is great. I bought it used on Craigslist and I see people selling them all the time on that site. Give it a try and if there aren't any for sale put an ad in the Wanted section and state that you'll pay $50.00. Good Luck
Q: I am looking to spend up to $400 on a new vacuum as my wife has some pretty nasty allergies to dust mites and molds. Any suggestions as to make/models or even just types of vacuums (bagless/bag) that I should consider. Thanks!
My son has allergies and I bought a Dyson DC08, I have to say they are great hoover?s you might think they are a bit bulky but once you get accustomed to them there great , they really get the dirt up and no bag
Q: I have long hair and it gets all over the carpet. The vacuum cleaner is meant to be a good strong one but it can't manage the hair. At best it will put it into clumps. I have to pick it up manually and it's very annoying. Why won't the vacuum cleaner work? Will another one work or am I doomed?
its not your vacuum cleaners fault. its the fact that your hair sticks to the carpets fibre so well. i have this same problem and my vacuum isnt good enough to do the job. what i do, is a get a broom. it must be very strong and have strong brissles. dont use the pathetic soft broom. the broom i use, is kind of like a scribbing broom used to scrub tiles. so basically just use it like a vacuum cleaner, and it will pick up all that hair from your carpet :)
Q: Can you suggest me a good vacuum cleaner without any filters?I want a vacuum cleaner that has no filters so I don't have to buy any at all.Can you tell what brand of vacuum cleaner don't have filters so I could buy one that would be great if you help me out :)And please right down what type of vacuum cleaner do you use and what do you think is the best :)Thank you :)
The Dyson brand vacuum cleaners use a washable filter, so there is nothing to buy. they are a little more expensive, but ours has lasted longer than any vacuum we have previously had, and requires no bags, or filters so it's just the initial purchase. It also does a really good job.
Q: Our old dryer wouldn't dry clothes so we replaced it with a brand new one. We're having the same problem so I'm assuming the vent is blocked. I'm not very handy and I electrocute myself routinely so I want to make sure I'm not doing anything dangerous if I hop on the roof with and try fishing any crap out of the vent. Suggestions or warnings?
Natasha i think of you may call your landlord and characteristic him/her are available in and look on the way the dryer is desperate up with the aid of fact no that doesn't sound precise. To do away with the moldy scent on your clothing wipe out the in the dryer with organic white vinegar, do no longer dilute it and then once you wash your clothing upload in basic terms some cap's crammed with organic white vinegar into the wash and that could do away with the scent. i do no longer understand what you employ for washing cleansing soap even though if it incredibly is advisable to objective diverse the Oxy with baking soda, it smells very fantastic and pass away your clothing smelling large. perfect of success to you Natasha Oh yeah additionally take the vent from the dryer and wash on your kitchen sink with vinegar in basic terms be constructive to permit it dry thoroughly till now you place it lower back in to the dryer.
Q: I have a 1933 hoover 800. It needs the bearings greased really badly. And I have no idea how to do it.
You're saying you have a Hoover built in 1933? If so, you may as well try to sell it as an antique to some vac shop and try to find something that will actually work. The bearings in the motor on that machine are most likely not greaseable anyway. Most times vacuum bearings are sealed and are replaced not lubed. There will be no parts available for that machine.
Q: Are the kirby vacuum cleaners really a quot;good investment. My husband let these people in our house who were quot;promoting a new store were offering a free floor cleaning demoquot;...FREESkipping to the point..I was lied to and pressure into buying a $2000 vacuum cleaner. I called to cancel but they keep sending people to my house to convince me it's a quot;good investmentshould I keep it or tell them to f* off call the cops next time they come to harrass me? I felt bad because they were here for so long but I can't afford this quot;investmentquot;. They made me feel guilty saying I spend more a month on my cell each month but afterall it's still $2000 for a vacuum
Kirby Vacuum Generations
Q: Are tornadoes nature's vacuum cleaners?
Opposite I think...they leave tons of debris.
Q: Over a decade ago I recall playing a platform game where the player used a vacuum cleaner to defeat foes. Anyone know the name of this game?
the simpsons arcade game- marge used a vacuum.
