Q: If you have first hand experience with these units, please advise. The idea sounds great; turn it on, leave the house, come home and the whole house is vacuumed, and the unit is back in its port being recharged. Do they do a good job? Do they miss areas like around the chair legs at the dining room table? Do you reccommend a particular brand?Please share your experience.: I've seen one in action and I am not impressed. They take forever and are weak. It only takes a few minutes to vacuum. The $300 would be better spent on a real vacuum. Real vacuums are not only more powerful, but with all the hoses and attachments they come with it makes them much more versatile.

Q: I bought one and I have to wear earplugs to use it. It doesn't work all that well, either, just good enough. I'm thinking of taking it back. Any suggestions for a good stick vacuum? My case on my Hoover was cracked really badly (where it meets the handle) - that's why I bought the Shark.: Both my hand held and Rally models are so freaking loud. I wear ear plugs, as I feel it is so loud, and I vacuum for quite some time and frequently, it probably could do damage. Be careful with your ears.

Q: Why are cats afraid of vacuum cleaners?: because they are large and very noisy to cats it is like a huge monsterto them which is sucking all things. cars hate noise so they get scared when they hear this

Q: i need something cheap too: With allergies, buy any one in your price range as long as it has a hepa filter. They filter finer particles than a regular filtered vac. For a reasonably priced name for a starter vac, check the Dirt Devil brands

Q: Do you like Sharks? Why.?: I believe sharks are awesome creatures. People have made them out to be villains. People are angry at sharks because they someimes bite but consider the fact that when swimming at the beach were in a shared ecosystem. The sharks were there first so we should respect them. If I was a shark I would probably be angry that 100s of people swim around in my home. Also when sharks bite their not necessarly trying to eat someone. They dont have hands and their fins arent effective in feeling something so they use their teeth. Their just trying to feel and unfortunately it involves their teeth but once again its their turf. Sooooo I love sharks because their beautiful enough said : )

Q: In all the TV commercials advertising cleaning products such as vacuum cleaners and all-purpose cleaners they show women, never men, using them. Where is the outcry for this?: Well cleaning has always been thought of as a job/task/responsibility for women.
