- Q: Pun intended.
- They just do. Its the circle of life. lol.
- Q: and little elephant vacuum cleaners to s uck up the saw dust?
- thats' what the tower of babel was -- a dinosaur crane. since they failed, though, noah had to redo it.
- Q: Why would people buy Dyson cleaners when there are now 'copy cat' products that have also produced bagless vacuum cleaners? Is it because Dysons products are far far better still? Or does Dyson still have so many patents that they cannot copy him 100% and their products still differ?Or is it just brand loyalty e.g. you would still buy Coca Cola even if someone produced another Coke, with exactly the same recipeThanks (I am currently researching Engineers for Uni and so your answers all help)
- I would never buy a bagless vacuum cleaner, and don't see why anyone would. The bag contains the mess, makes cleanup much easier. As far as I know, this brand cleaner has gotten poor reviews. .
- Q: Now one nipple is slightly larger than the other. How is this problem resolved? Can it be fixed?
- Sounds like it caused some internal bruising and fluid from the underlying breast lymph tissue to be forced into the outer tissues and caused swelling of these tissues. It will probably resolve it self over the next 6 weeks. This is not the first stupid thing I have seen people do with vacuum cleaners. A ice pack may help take away some of the swelling.
- Q: should i try vacuum cleaners or fridges instead
- Silly, You are supposed to use them not catch em!
- Q: for the purchase of a new vacuum cleaner. But when I find one that gets good reviews, a little more searching uncovers absolutely horrible reviews for every machine I've looked at! Except of course the ones that cost over $400.So...has anyone bought a vacuum cleaner that doesn't have a ridiculous price-tag, that has actually continued to work well after you've had it for a year or more???
- Hello, I don't have much time but here's some advice. (I'm a vac tech at a vacuum shop) Stay away from all bagless machines (yes that includes the dyson). They don't filter well, they won't last as long as a bagged machine, and they don't have as much air flow as a bagged machine Riccar makes a good vacuum for under 400.00, and it will last you 10+ years. Riccar also makes some cheaper vacuums under the name Carpet Pro. They are good as well. Stay away from the cheap box store brands like dirt devil, eureka, bissell etc also New electrolux and hoovers are bad. Kirby's are overpriced and are a pain, and orecks don't work well (try the riccar supra lite if you like the oreck) Riccar is the vest value. Panasonic, Simplicity and Sanyo are good machines. (Sebo also but they are 400+) If you can, go to a vacuum store. They will have much better vacuum then a cheapy from walmart. Any vacuum can clean, but not all vacuums will retain the dirt, filter, clean well, last a long time, are easy to use, have a good warranty....Riccar fills all those criteria. Good luck
- Q: a retailer sold 50 vacuum cleaners at $90 and 35 vacuum cleaners at $140...what is the weighted mean price of a vacuum cleaner sold by the retailer???
- Weighted price = Total Income / Total number of vacuum cleaners Weighted price = (50*90 + 35*140) / (50 + 35) = $110.59
- Q: how did they clean carpets before there were vacuum cleaners?
- Theres been mechanical push sweepers used for a couple centuries, but most carpets rolled up and were shaken out then beat/patted with a special rug beater..I see them at antique stores.
- Q: I hear the Dyson Animal vacuum is the best thing out there but it has a very tall price tag.Is there anything similar that performs just as well that isnt so pricey?
- Nothing really compares to Dyson vacuum cleaners. They are high priced because they are the best - their especially helpful to those who have asthma as they pick up virtually everything (dust mites etc). They pick up so much from deep in the carpet - I've yet to see another one like that. You could try the cheaper end of the Dyson family. I own one myself and wish I would have got one years ago. Even the lower end of the scale is better than the other brand of vacuums. Like pookyluc said, try OKorder or other online places if you can if it works out cheaper.
- Q: can commercial vacuum cleaners be used a home ?I dont know if their high speed and powerful motors can damage the carpet at my home.I am thinking of buying oreck but dont know if I buy thier commercial vacuum cleanerthey can damage my carpet.Let me know if you have any experience with those.
- If I had one that is what I'd be using. It won't suck the threads right out of the carpet and that is what you are thinking right? They are just made to take the abuse that a regular home vacuum can't. You know people at work don't take care of things like they do at home. I think your Lucky!
