Q:I have a big rug in my bedroom which I would like to bring to school- however it smells bad from jsut being on the floor for so long. I would like to clean it just enough so that it won't stink up my dorm room WITHOUT calling a carpet cleaner. Any suggestions?: How about spraying it with a can of resolve or similar brand carpet foam, scrub with a damp mop,let dry then vacuum. Spritz with some febreze.

Q:How do you fix the room carpet?: Carpet all over, glue, or nail wood around the room. It's OK. Use the glue!

Q:i have a my living room which is 23 by 18 feet then my dinning room is 11by 11 how much would it cost to carpet it that. A rouch estimate????: Hey, U.P., what's up? Sometimes we just have to be proud of the fact that even three and four year olds can use computers these days. Other times, we need to figure out how to invent a childproof locking keyboard. I mean we keep 'em out of aspirin bottles and there are trigger locks for guns. I know the computers have anti-child settings, but those are software solutions. We need a physical lock for our keyboards!

Q:I'm getting ready to put new frieze carpet (similar to a shaggy carpet). I have a dyson vacume cleaner I have heard that it doesnt vacume that well on frieze carpet. Is that true? Is that type of carpet durable? Thanks for your feedback.: I can't answer for the dyson question, but I have frieze carpet in my house and love it. the husband wanted full blown shag and I compromised (I wanted berber) any way, it is durable, tough and does not mat.really happy with it and we have it in the highest traffic areas of our house - the hallway and stairs as well as the master bathrooms. every time I vacuum, it looks just like it did the day they put it in. I have a kirby and vacuuming it is a breeze. I have not had any issues other than not being able to find earrings in the carpet if I drop them. It cleans beautifully as well.

Q:i have a brown room with red draps and red bed sperad//what color should i get my carpet?: a nice cream or light beige it would blend with both brown and red hope this helps sue

Q:Or do I take it to a cleaners?: I would take it to a cleaners unless you find a very informative video online about it, like a how-to or step by step.

Q:My landlord is finally replacing the carpet in my apt. But he's not going to pay to have it installed. It's not my responsibility to pay it's his responsibility to pay for the carpet and installation right.: It's your landlords responsibility. If he is replacing the carpeting the benefit is his. It improves his property thus it's his responsibility. If you are the reason the carpet needs to be replaced ie pet urine, burn, bleach, kid made a mess, then he still has to pay for the carpet and instillation but he takes it out on your deposit.

Q:dried into wool rug: steam clean the rug and then apply a product called Urine Gone. it works really well. After about an hour or so, stem clean the rug again.

Q:I recently bought an area rug and it has a wrinkle I guess you would call it, in it. Its soooo annoying, we're tried re-rolling it the other way and vacuuming it out, ironing it out, and putting heavy things on it to make it stay flat.
