FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own                design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000            pcs.

Q: We have tiled around our jetted tub about halfway up the wall and the top and around the edges does not look finished. Do we add trim there or something else?
Bullnose tile if your tile has it available, not all tiles do.. If it doesn t, there are some decorative tiles that can be used. If not there are metal and plastic edging made for this purpose. Several types but one of the most common is the Schulter edging available at all tile places and the big box stores. GL
Q: My landlord recently had new bath/shower faucets installed, but didn‘t have matching tiles put in place of the ones that had to be removed in a small section. Do I have a legitimate case against my landlord? It‘s such an eyesore. Everytime I shower, I see the unmatching tiles and get so angry. Aren‘t I deserving of matching tiles?
I guarantee you'd be laughed out of court over this issue. Not only that, but you'll completely lose the respect of the landlord who's had the misfortune of getting stuck with someone like you as a tenant.
Q: I accidentally tiled over an outlet cover. What can I do to fix this issue with out having to remove all the tile?
First you need to find the outlet. Go to Lowe's or H D and get an electrical tester that works on the principal of detecting power in the lines. This special tester will have no wires to touch, it looks like a large ink pen. Once you find the outlet just remove the tiles that need to be cut. Regards, Dale
Q: Kent has a 2-ft by 2-ft square floor to cover with tiles. He has 38 tiles. Twelve of the tiles are 4-inch by 4-inch squares, ten are 4-inch by 8-inch rectangles, and the remaining 16 are 2-inch by 8-inch right triangles. What is the smallest number of pieces Kent can have left over after covering the floor? Please show your work if possible (like steps etc) You can solve it as a Geometry or in Algebric way which ever works for you. Thankyou To All That Solves!
this is a gay question
Q: how can i tile over linolium flooring without pulling it up?
Tap around the floor in a tight pattern. Loose spots will sound hollow. Cut them out completely with a sharp utility knife, angleing the knife away from the center of the spot you are cutting. Spred a floor prep, such as Ardex or Planipatch ( both portland cement based floor preps), over the floor to fill the holes and any pattern (you will need an 18 flat trowel). Spread the mix on the floor at a 45 degree angle. Scrape off the excess at a 60 to 70 degree angle. Work in a semicircle sweeping motion, leaving only what you need to fill the holes and pattern. The prep will get lighter as it dries, usually 20 - 45 miniutes depending on the size of the cutouts. All prep shrinks as it dries, so you may need to coat larger cutouts a second time. Scrape down any ridges with the edge of the trowell, use a low 5 to 10 degree angle to avoid gouging floor. Sweep floor thoroughly, at least twice, and vaccuum up pile. Then you are ready to set tile. Be sure to use the right notch size on the trowel for proper adhesion without squeez out mess. Also read the glue directions. Many glues need open time to tack up before setting tile. Doing this will make sure that you are getting the best adhesion possible. It will help to resist water damage, and it will keep the pattern of the vinyl from telescoping through the tile over long peroids of time.
Q: we are planning on replacing our livingroom carpet, !/2 of it withceramic tile. Is there any do‘s and don‘ts to consider. Thanks.
With all due respect and not knowing at all your DESIGN, certainly I have suugestions. After installing thousands of sq. ft of tile, and various other flooring I ask that you e mail me. The tile installed may be at some similar level to the tile but needs transition molding, and again without knowing the design; is to to be a DECO thing or a simple carpet butted to tile as in half a space? The installation process isn't so difficult even for a DY, but there are things to consider, I offer all the help, through my experience, I can offer in emailing me... even if I'm not BEST. Q: When tiling a counter top, do you need to remove the existing covering? I am assuming that I would. If so, should I apply the tile directly to the plywood? Will the plywood be wide enough?
take the original tile off. Do not tile on the plywood. You have to put backerboard on top of the plywood, then you apply the tile to the backerboard. So it goes plywood....then backerboard .....then tile. It's easy, but also make sure your tiles are properly sealed. You can get water spots and stains on your tile that won't come out if they are not sealed. Good luck, don't be intimidated as it's fairly easy, just time consuming and messy. go to one of those free homedepot classes if you are not sure. They are 10 minutes and informative
Q: i had my floor tiled a few years ago...they had used black grout between white tile and put my island back...just had island moved and there are black stains on the white tiles...can they come out...and how???
Dilute clorox bleach into a spray bottle (3 part water to 1` part bleach) and spray it on the grout. Wait 5 minutes and rinse. Cheap and effective.
Q: To re-do the kitchen so to change the previous, but the tiles left on the traces of viscose, how to remove it? Is there any good way? First, thank you
Depends on what is the glue on the wall. Water glue with a towel dipped in warm water can paint clean; silicone with a blade scraping; universal glue (strong glue) with organic solvents (thinner, banana water, alcohol, gasoline, etc.) can be washed clean.
Q: How are these tiles differ from each other and how to identify these?
Installing tile over concrete is the best way to install floor just make sure all the cracks are filled in with a ardex filler or even mortar smoothed out. As far as the old tile glue on just try to scrap it clean as best as possible and go from there. Also make sure u sweep and clean the area good free of dirt as best as possible.
