- Q: I purchased a Rowe sofa close to 5 years ago for around $1000. The frame recently broke- quite bad, too, as it's now entirely on the floor- and, when I called the original retailer, I was told I would have to pay for labor on the sofa, although the warranty is a limited lifetime warranty that protects against breakage caused by manufacturing defects. There is no mention of labor costs in the warranty. Does anybody know about sofa/furniture warranties, specifically this company's? Does anyone have a phone number, besides 800-421-7693, that I can call and actually speak with a human?Thank you!
- I havent used this company, but I had a sofa bed where the actual bed collapsed and pat of it was resting on the floor rather than being attached to the side of the couch..(which meant that it was useless as you couldnt sleep on it and there for you couldnt fold it away and sit on the couch).it was still under the 5 yr warranty all I had to do was to get the couch to the retailer and they repaired it with no cost to me.... I dont see why you should have to pay for labour costs when its under warranty good luck

- I have a big brown leather 2 pc suite and I have 2 stripey fabric cushions on each one. I think it looks really nice. Leather is cold looking and the cushions warm it up. It's upto you what you prefer!
- Q: I have recently come into possession of a really good couch. The ONLY problem being is that it has stains on it, and smells a little. Besides that, it's brand spankin' new and in nice condition (no rips or tears) / everything in tact. I've decided to make a project out of this couch, as I know that most of the time, suede can be a b17ch to clean, but honestly, my husband and I don't have the money for a new couch as all of our money is going towards getting a new car. So right now I'm looking at ways to get stains out, make the suede look nicer, if not great, and get rid of the little tangy smell. - I use a product by the name of Capture. I have been purchasing it at the Home Depot. A starter kit contains 1 container of dry cleaning powder, 1 bottle of spray and a brush. You spray the sofa with the dirt removing spray then apply the dry cleaning powder to the sofa and then brush it in. Wait about one half hour then use your vacum cleaner to remove the dry powder. If it's not clean repeat the process. It cost about $15.00 for this kit and the powder has a fresh scent and it's less expensive then having someone come in and clean your sofa fo you.

- Number 2... definately. Much more classy and slylish. Also, its much more versatile in the sense that you can change the way the furniture is positioned in the room much more easily than with a large L-shaped sofa..also with this sofa, if you get tired of the style, you can easily change the decor... The first sofa is too large and out of date. You'd be pretty much stuck with modern decor as long as you owned this soda....
- Q: how do i get the smell of smoke out of leather sofas?
- White vinegar neutralizes the odors of cigarettes. You do not need to use it as a liquid cleaner, either. We put about 1 of white vinegar into a bowl and place the bowl in the room(s) that smell bad from smoke. Leave the bowl there until the smell is gone. We do it after mother-in-law leaves – she's a chain smoker. Works great! I would try making a large plastic 'tent' over the sofa. Remove the cushions to allow more surface area and then put bowls of vinegar under the tent. I see no reason why this would not work.
