- Q: i would like to connect a second keyboards to my PC, and use one as a standard keyboard, and use the other one for shortcuts.i have a ps2 keyboards, that i would like to use as a normal keyboards and the other one for media shortcuts, how could i accomplish this??
- you can connect a usb keyboard. Or more than one, but either way both keyboards will work identically. Whatever you do on one will result in the same action as on the other.
- Q: Hi guys,I have a PB 9205 media keyboard with a few extra buttons. The keyboard works fine and the music buttons and hibernate buttons are working fine but there are four more buttons in the top left which don't work. The buttons have no affect on the computer when I press them, has this happend to anyone else and how can it be fixed? Also, is there any way I could reprogram these buttons if I got them working to perform differnt tasks? Thanks in advance!

- Q: hello, I am moving to norway after a short stay in sweden. I am getting a laptop in sweden, does anyone know if swedish keyboard is same with norwegian keyboard?

- Q: I have a dell desktop. And an hp ps#92;2 keyboard connected to it via a gigaware usb adapter. Yesterday it randomly stopped working. When computer is powered on or i plug the keyboard in. 3 led lights blink twice and then nothing. Ive tried restarting the computer. Plugging it into different usb ports. Everything i can think of. Someone help please?
- Have you tried plugging the keyboard directly to the PC keyboard port and not thru the adapter?I'm assuming the desktop has a P/S2 port. If yes, then it is possible the keyboard is drawing much more power than the USB ports can provide. Try the following: 1. Check to see that all pins in the keyboard connector are straight and none broken 2. Use a different USB adapter If none of these works, you probably have a dead keyboard.
- Q: At start up, the num lock light is on but the keyboard does not type. After holding the shift key a few seconds I can hear the computer beep and then my keyboard is fine. But every now and then the num lock light will not come on at start up and the keyboard won't respond to me holding the shift key either, I have to completely restart the computer.
- I have No Idea what is wrong with the num lock (Maybe it is something in the wire if it is ut or is loosing connection with the conputer) but when i hold down the shift button My Computer beeps to.?!?!?!?!?
- Q: i spilled water on some parts of the keyboard but it was working alright. when i turned the pc on again after a few mins. , the letters on the area where i spilled water on wont work. so i removed the keyboard and i tried to dry it. but when i plugged it back, and turned the pc on, the cpu keeps beeping, when i removed the keyboard, it stoped beeping. when i plugged it backagain, the cpu started to beep again.can this be fixed? is the problem the cpu or the keyboard? (btw, yes the cpu beeps so please don't tell me a cpu cant beep)please do help me w/ this. im using the guest user account instead of my personal user account cause the is no way i could type my password :( and im typing on the on screen keyboard right now and it's such a hassle.
- Keyboard circuit fried. Yup i eventually tested this before (pouring some water on the keyboard purposely and got the same beep. Change to a new keyboard.
- Q: i have these two keyboards in my mind now, razer lycosa mirror edition and Gigabyte Aivia K8100 Gaming Keyboard, i wanna know what are some other keyboards which are gaming and illuminated[preferably blue light] . and the price is cheaper than these twothanks!
- I think the cheapest reliably made illuminated keyboards mostly come from Saitek. I'm using an Eclipse right now and it's been a great keyboard for maybe 5 years now. Granted that some of the paint is coming off the keys, but I think that the slightly more expensive (and bigger) Cyborg version has better paint. Even mine though after 5+ years is only missing paint on the L, ., , and Enter key. If you're looking for one to help you find your way in a dark room it's great, but if you're looking for one because you can't type without identifying each key then I would go with a white-lit keyboard, as it's much more visible. Lycosa is definitely a nice looking keyboard as is the Aivia, but there are many other cheaper solutions. Try exploring Logitech's line of white lit keyboards or perhaps Microsoft Sidewinder x4 keyboard, which is a fairly cheap alternative to the two you mentioned. If you're looking for something even cheaper I can't recommend Saitek keyboards enough. I think you'll be impressed with any of them, simply because back-lighting looks amazing regardless of the keyboard or the brand. From a standpoint of reliability and sturdiness i'd say Razer Gigabyte Saitek Microsoft Logitech Generic Just my opinion though, keyboards are generally pretty reliable even in the generic range.
- Q: I got a wireless keyboard. I switched the letters around so that I could use it as a Dvorak keyboard. Is it possible for me to use both keyboards. Not at the same time, but switch back and forth so that other people could use the laptop's keyboard and I can use the wireless.

- Q: Any comments on HP Pavilion laptop keyboards? Someone suggested they were too small and inconvenient I have in mind 101-key compatible with full size keyboard with integrated numeric keypad.
- I have what you have in mind. The keyboard is full size but no number keypad on mine (big deal). It is integrated like a normal keyboard. The too small problem is because thay probably have a 12 or 13 inch screen so the keyboard is SMALL also. The HP laptop (notebook) comes complete with user help explaining all the keys, functions, 'n such. I think you'll like it. PS: HP is great with help and automatic updates when you register the computer. You can also sign on to online classes that I've found very helpful. ;-)
