Q: I'm thinking of buying a shag rug similar to this type. I have 2 boys and a dog...so it will need to be steam cleaned every now and then. I'm wondering if those are cleanable with professional steam cleaners, or if the sucking action will tear up the rug. Figured it would be good to find out before I buy one! Thanks!
this information came from the care instructions on the link you provided: Recommended Care: ?Professional rug cleaning or hand wash in cold water ?Hang or lay flat to dry ?Flip over and vacuum on the back side ?Rug pad is recommended under all rugs to avoid skidding ?Due to the hand made nature of the rugs, colors and sizes will vary slightly Because this is a hand made rug and costly, I myself would not use a steam cleaning machine on it.
Q: What pigment is good for writing on the carpet?
Big white clouds acrylic ~ ~ oil painting can be oil painting pen. You must clean the pen when you finishing using it. The pen that is made of weasel's hair and gouache pen are all ok.
Q: HOW TO MAKE A PERSHIN RUG FROM START TO FINISH.
I think you mean a Persian rug. Start tying knots and don't stop until your rug is finished! Read the link...
Q: My husband had grease from the shop on his shoes and walked on my beige carpet. Now I have small little strips of grease on the floor. What is the best way to remove it without killing my carpet
Remove Grease From Carpet
Q: I AM REPLACING CARPET IN MY HOME. ITS JUST MY WIFE AND ME. WE WANT GOOD CARPET, BUT I AM ALSO INTERESTED IN GETTING A GOOD VALUE. A BALANCE BETWEEN QUALITY AND PRICE. CAN SOMEONE HELP WITH GUIDELINES OR SUGGESTIONS ON CHOSING CARPET? THANK YOU
Price will tell you the quality. But in general look how thick it is. Thin carpets are usually not the best quality.
Q: When I first started buying stuff for my house,I bought a hundred different colors of rugs for every place.. Now I want to match all colors with other furniture, but I dont have the heart to get rid of the older ones..they are almost new..How can I match everything without a heartbreak??
It would be awful to discard all those beautiful rugs.... they will be adding a touch of colour and contrast to your home. Have you considered having the rooms one colour and keeping the rugs as contrast? If you really must get rid of them maybe you could donate them to a charity and know that someone will make good use of them? Or sell them and use the money to buy your new matching rugs.
Q: I know, chocolate brown, gag me with a spoon, right!? Anyhow, I need a cheap rug for my cheap apartment.I will also have a pistachio green bathroom, what will cordinate with that!?Links please! Thanks a bunch for your help!
A persian rug. But I would have one that was too expensive, because I could not afford it. If you can, then find one that blends all of your colors together well. If you cannot, then go to Big Lots or another distribution center and look. We got a great one for this house 5X7 I think, and it wasn't too expensive. Pulls a room together.
Q: The rug is modern-style 6'x9' with many colors. It is generally pretty dirty all over as well as some spots. Can it be done at home or should I have it done professionally?
You can do it with Woolite rug cleaner. It comes in a spray can and you spray it, then brush if necessary, and then vacuum. Read the label. You could try it in a small area and then you will know. If the rug is worth over $200, I would have it professionally cleaned. You can drop it off at a rug cleaning business and in a few days it can be picked up. Or you can have them in to clean it. If you have a pet, have them deodorize it.
Q: need list of carpet pythons from smallest to largest along with website for caresheet need straight up answers nothing stupid so means i only want experienced people answering
you're an inbred idiot. I hope you can learn better English.
Q: Hi guysI'm moving to a new house and I want to replace the old carpet. But I'm stuck between carpet and laminate/hardwood.I thought carpet is warmer in winter but keep the carpet clean is a tough thing.can you plz give me some ideashave anyone had a carpet? Thanks for you time and help :)
Depends where you want to put the carpet and wood. Actually flooring is all the same temp its just that carpet does feel warmer. Thats why well placed area rugs work out so well on wood. If this house is a long term investment, go hardwood. Properly maintained, it ll last a lifetime. As far as pricing goes, 0n the average ,carpet is overall cheaper than hardwood. But hardwood will outlast carpet when taken care .. If this is a shorter term investment, a good laminate may work out for you.. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL
