You will need to know what your Load weighs. How high in the air the crane will have to lift it. ....Putting a swimming pool in the back yard is completely different ....than putting that same swimming pool up on top of a 15 story ....building. How close to the Load can the crane park? Or how far you need the LOAD moved. What a crane can lift, even if it a 100 ton crane is based on how far the crane has to reach to pick up the load and how much the crane has to rotate to place the load. The angle the crane boom goes to, etc. Our 15 ton PH crane can lift 30 thousand pounds at 10 feet from the Turning center. And only a 1,000 pounds or less if the boom is fully extended with the Jib on, that is 125 feet away from the turning center of the crane. Distance is critical! They will probably need to see the work site to give a really accurate answer. Wingman

- It really depends on what kind of music you want to study. If you are interested in classical music, Berklee is not your best option. But if you want to study contemporary music, it's basically your ONLY option. It's also the only school with both a Songwriting and a Music Production major. I personally love Berklee. You spend your time surrounded by so many talented people, students and teachers alike, who love and play very diverse styles of music. The experiences you get performing and the feedback you receive both in and out of class about your own music are so valuable. The focus of your education is completely about you- the kind of music you want to play, your work as a unique musician, preparing you whatever you want to do in the future. - Q:Could anyone tell me how they erect a construction crane.Some how they just are suddenly THERE, as If by magic.It seems as though the Boom part of the crane must be kind of JACKED up into place.That is the only way I can see them getting those GIANT concrete blocks into the back end of the boom. It doesn't seem possible otherwise. The only other thing I can thing of is the bulk of the pieces are brought in by helicoper and attached.Everything kind of makes sence except the Giant concrete blocks used as a counter weight. ALSO, if the blocks are needed to act as counterweigth to the CRANE itself..why doesn't the Crane fall over when it picks stuff up???
