- You need a wired keyboard for the installation, because you can't connect Bluetooth device until after. You know you can use the bluetooth keyboard/mouse on the XMB, right? I'm pretty sure you can use it also, for web surfing and whatnot.

- You could plug your keyboard into it and you would hear your keyboard, but it would be far from ideal. Guitar amps like the Roland Cube 40XL are made to deal with and accentuate the frequency response of a guitar, whereas keyboards use the full audio spectrum. Using a guitar amp has two drawbacks: 1) the amp will change the sound of your keyboard significantly. 2) the amp may not deal well with certain low frequency sounds coming from your keyboard. Depending on your keyboard patch, that could damage the loudspeaker. Also, your keyboard will not be in stereo. In a pinch, you might be able to get away with it for practice. But don't perform with it. It will sound terrible.

- Try unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in. While you had it all apart it may have become unconnected or came loose. If that doesn't work you'll probably need to try a new keyboard. Plug a External USB keyboard in for the time being.

- May I ask what your budget for a Keyboard is? Gaming keyboards can be quite expensive! For example, the G105 Logitech Gaming keyboard is about $60. A Razer Mechanical Keyboard (I recommend Mechanical Keyboards if you are a gamer), than that will run you anywhere from 60-90 dollars or more. The Raptor-Gaming LK1 Gaming Keyboard is about $30 on amazon right now, if that is more in your price range.

- Take to a repair shop. They will take out keyboard and replace it. Or you can try it yourself. Some have tried holding the keyboard face down and spraying a lot of distilled water (steam distilled only) into it, then letting it air dry for a week. Or you could continue using as is.

- take a lightly damp cloth to your keyboard then let it totally dry. it might work again in a day or two. check the manufactureres website for further info. to get a new kb, check craigslist for your town and then the free section. that would be better than $20 - $100
- Q: i have a windows xp and its fine and everythingi jsut noticed that when using my keyboard if i push 3 or more buttons at once or swiftly my comp makes a beep noise and the buttons dont respond to what i pressed during that time.Its not my keyboard cuase i used a different varity of keyboards and they all do the same tihng. - Actually it is the keyboard you use. Most keyboards today limit the keypresses to 3 or 4 for some unknown reason. There are keyboards made that actually boast the number of simultaneous keypresses that are allowed such as the Razer Tarantula. There are a couple others too. It seems to be a hardware limitation found in MOST normal keyboards nowdays back in the windows 95 and before days keypresses didn't seem to be limited at all. Then again they were 5 pounds. - Q: Any comments on HP Pavilion laptop keyboards? Someone suggested they were too small and inconvenient I have in mind 101-key compatible with full size keyboard with integrated numeric keypad.
- HP keyboards are fine. The size is pretty standard between keyboards, so there isn't really any truth to a claim that a company's keyboards on a normal size laptop are too small. The keyboard you're thinking of is pretty standard, although the numeric keyboard might not be available on laptops that aren't 17 in screen size or larger, depending on what you are talking about. You will be fine with an HP keyboard unless your hands are enormous.
