Q:How many keys does a professional keyboard have, like one used in a rock band?what's the best kind to get?: Depends what you want it for and how much you want to spend. If you want something which has GOOD sounds but not very many then you'd be better off getting a stage piano. If you want hundreds of sounds, synths, effects etc then you'd be better off getting a synthesizer. If you want a very good organ sound then you'd be better off getting something like a nord stage organ. Do some research - look on the websites for yamaha, roland, nord and possibly moog see what you fancy. In my opion you should steer clear of korgs - I can't stand them. In addition you may need to think about whether you need 2 keyboards - I have a roland 300SX for good piano sounds and a roland fantom XA for synths etc.

So when chinesse people chat do they have all the words on the keyboard?How are the chinesse keyboards?Can we chat with someone from china?If so, how would we see their message?Hmmm.: Don't we have many words spelled the same or that sound the same but can mean different things depending on how it appears in the sentence? Yes. Do we have all our words on our keyboards? No. We type the letters to compose the words, hitting space every so often. For Asian keyboards you type sounds and since spaces aren't used in the language, hit the space bar to quickly select whatever word combination you want. It takes very little time to do once you're used to it. Yes, you can chat to someone from China. And they can chat to you. Imagine that! Communicating to someone in a foreign land over the Internet. Who know the world would become so advanced? You can see their message by installing East Asian fonts.

Or is there an adapter each?Thanks.: depends on what you mean with keyboard and mouse combos, the ones i seen at stores here in sweden is basicly just a keyboard and a mouse from the same brand sold together at ushally a bit better price and they are exactly like buying them one by one so that means well ushally its USB ports so 2 usb ports needed, one for mouse and one for keyboard.

Q:i would like to connect a second keyboards to my PC, and use one as a standard keyboard, and use the other one for shortcuts.i have a ps2 keyboards, that i would like to use as a normal keyboards and the other one for media shortcuts, how could i accomplish this??: you can connect a usb keyboard. Or more than one, but either way both keyboards will work identically. Whatever you do on one will result in the same action as on the other.

My question is if i attach and extra keyboard to my laptop would the laptop's keypad also work or would only one of them, the laptop's keypad or the external keyboard work?: Is the external keyboard connected via USB or PS/2? If it's USB, the keypad may work, but if you have a PS/2 port, then only the external keyboard will work. IDEA: why not designate player 1's keys on the left of the laptop keyboard and player 2's keys on the right of the laptop keyboard. That way, you don't have to worry about connection issues and you can bump the other player if he starts to win!! :)

Q:I accidentally spilled a twisted V on my keyboard, and now my C key and my M key stick. Can I fix this without buying a new keyboard?: Try popping off the keys by prying from below. You may want to do the entire keyboard. Place the loose keys into a pan of warm soapy water and stir them around a bit. Next, use a q-tip and plain water and mop around the entire newly exposed keyboard area. Use canned air to blast away anything around the stickiest areas. Snap the keys back in place and hope for the best. Either that or do as I had my son do when he dumped an entire glass of pink lemonade into my keyboard spend $26 at Best Buy and get a new keyboard.
