- I hope solar is a brand name, not a solar battery charger because there is no way in Hell you can jump start a car with a solar power charger unless it is the size of a football field (and sunny out) Average price of a good one is around $150.

- Wow, how did it come off in the 1st place? well, unless its a mac, most laptops uses the universal type of charger so if you have another laptop at home you can also use that charger. the third prong is earth, and its kinda dangerous without it so i suggest you stop using it. and since it cant charge your battery you really should change the charger. of course there is no no need to get a new laptop, its just problems with your charger(: hope that helps^^

- replace the charger/powersupply. You said it would charge if you twisted it. That says battery was working. Also, you see the damage on cable. You wanna replace that anyway. Shorts suck. Just replace charger.

- Mine was not an LG charger but you can use any cell phone charger-type thing if you can find one with the same port. If you dont have one you can just buy a kindle charger online on OKorder, amazon or something like that.

- There is not a simple answer to your question. It really depends on the charger design and the type of battery. I am assuming you are actually talking about cells. Although we all call cells batteries, a battery actually consists of two or more cells connected together in series to produce a higher voltage. Generally speaking however you can do either (especially with modern day chargers). If you use a lower capacity charger to charge a higher capacity battery, it will simply take longer time to fully charge the battery. If you use a higher capacity charger to charge a lower capacity battery, the circuitry inside the charger should limit the output current to a safe level. A higher capacity charger will not be able to charge a lower capacity battery any quicker however. If a battery has more charge current applied than it is designed for, it will overheat, damaging the battery, and possibly explode! That isn't an exaggeration, I have seen it happen a few times and in fact I've done it myself while playing around. I at least kept a safe distance away, unlike a co-worker who nearly lost a thumb about 25 years ago. The above is just for informational purposes only, based on my knowledge and experience of 35 years working in the electronics industry, and not to be considered as anything other than general guidelines. - depends on the charger and the battery capacity - 30minutes to 16 hours. Most likely to be 30-90 minutes with modern chargers. To take a few photos! How many is a few? Need the flash? Probably 10 minutes in a modern charger will give you a few
