FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.

Q: I havent installed any drivers because the package only came with the drive itself. I looked on Rosewills site, they have the drivers, but not for VistaAny ideas on what to do now?
Have you tried your card reader on a different computer? Have you tried different types of memory cards? Have you tried different USB ports? You have another cable to try? Looking over NewEgg's customer reviews for your reader seems to point towards not working with Vista. There seems to be a few with rapidly failed readers too.
Q: I have an existing portable hard drive and i want to be able to offload photos to it on go without a computer.
No, the external drive is a USB slave device, not a USB master device. It has to attach to something that has a USB host controller, such as your computer. As pointed out above, there are stand alone devices with card readers for the purpose you describe, but they have a host controller built in so that they can read memory cards. They are also much more expensive than a standard external hard drive, although the units without a display are less expensive than the units that also have a large LCD to view your pictures.
Q: i don't see it on here. i've looked all over. where's it at? i need to put pictures on here.
the placement is which you have put in diverse drivers which could be conflicting at the same time which comprise your hardware. in common terms be constructive you get it from the impressive suitable source. bypass to the Acer internet web site and come across the impressive suitable reason stress on your OS. you may desire to no longer bypass incorrect there. this would additionally be an same undertaking at the same time which comprise your USB ports. In precis, installation the Chipset drivers. which will likely restore each and every and each little thing.
Q: I insert the card into the reader and plug it into my computer and wait. I have also looked in my computer, and tried to find it all over the place. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Go the card reader company's website and download the driver if you are using an older system but if you are using a newer operating system like Vista or 7 I don't see this being the problem. If on a newer system return the reader or exchange it for another one. Also check to see if any lights come on when plugged into your computer to make sure the USB slot your sticking it in is catching the device and providing it with power but as I said before if you are sticking it in and nothing is happening it's faulty hardware. That's what she said.
Q: I have been reading tarot cards for awhile now I was asked how friends would describe my reading style. Can someone please elaborate? FYI if it helps, I do the Celtic Cross tarot spread.
The reading style will depend on the individual Reader. There is no other real answer. There are some old traditional styles people still use. Celtic Cross is one of them, but not the only one. While other Readers can create their own style. Do what is comfortable for you.
Q: I have a 4GB SDHC card and I used to always use it with my laptops internal reader, so I know that works. I got another SDHC Card 4GB and plugged it into the same reader and it didn't show up, I tried using my old card that had previously worked and now that does not show up either. Any clues how to fix this or I have just busted my internal reader? I also use XP in case that helps. Neither of them were locked/ are locked either. They work in my cameras just not my laptop.
Sd Card Reader Not Working
Q: I have a RFID Card Reader that is connected to the PC with USB. Now i want to use this foe the Attendance, like whenver a card is detected it should log a file in excel or a text file that when and what time was the card shown. So that i can come to know that when a person has come in and when he has left the office.so please someone help me please please
inspect RFID article on CNN the place the german company hacked RFID huge time . so some distance as a nationwide registry i'm not sure alot of folk might choose for it besides the undeniable fact that it has alot of pluses . are you able to think of a Dr. in an ER waving a test over you to get your copmplete medical history and meds in a nanno 2nd . sure it might additionally help decrease down unlawful;s and could make passports difficult to counterfeit - perhaps . If something we are shifting removed from a funds financial equipment to a paperless financial equipment so as that made no experience and if we in straightforward terms had paper are you able to think of each and all the human beings getting paid under the table and the counterfeiters and nicely the record is countless with all funds .
Q: I have a sandisk video HD card 4 GB and everytime I put in it in the computer built in card reader I can't open it even when I go to explore it will just freeze up but the card reader works when I put in the memory card for my picture camera in the same card reader. Its only this card that it won't read, it said something about it being unable to read it because its secure?? Help!!! I want to save my movies to my computer.
Possibly, the reader in the computer can't handle cards over 2GB. One alternative is to find the cable that hooks the camera up to the computer and transfer the data that way. Another is to try out a different card reader that is supposed to work with 4GB and larger cards.
Q: I just bought a brand new internal 3.5 inch card reader with one USB 2.0 port and all you are supposed to do is connect it to your internal USB header (which I did) and when I powered on my computer the power light comes on on the card reader but nothing happens if I connect a mouse or other USB device the system will not notice it I have XP if that helps any
Check the properties of the USB Root Hub in the Device Manager. There is a power management feature in xp that turns the USB off to save power.
Q: I used to have a Jessops Universal Card Reader and with that I was able to upload my pictures from my Olympus FE-220 Digital Camera. I have now lost it, but found out about a Jessops Smart Media Card Reader. Please can anyone tell me how it works? Is it the same as a Universal Card Reader? With that, all I had to do was put in the memory card from my camera and then connect it to my computer with a USB wire. Is this how it works? Thank you in advance
Sorry, but I'm not quite clear on your question as you seem to answer it yourself. If you have the card, then you need the reader. If you don't have a reader, you have to buy one. If you have to buy one, then look on the label and see if it is MAC OSX compatible - not greater than 10.4.11. As an fyi, these are mostly generic drives, I don't see a reason why any of these wouldn't work - even those that don't specifically say MAC OSX compatible.
