FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.

Q: I bought a Nikon CoolPix, and it comes with a UC-E6 USB Cable. Do I need to buy any memory card or memory card reader, then? Thanks!
well depends on how often you want to have to dump the pictures out of the camera. I doubt the internal memory is all that large. Memory cards are great especially if you plan on being out and about and plan on taking a lot of pictures. as for the memory card reader, not necessary, you should be able to pull the pictures straight off the camera, from the usb cord being plugged in.
Q: I just recently got a (Micro) SD/MMC/SIM card reader from Eforcity, but I can't find any PC APPLICATIONS that work with my Motorola W370 TracFone's phonebook via the SIM reader. When I use the application that was recommended by Eforcity to add entries to the phonebook, all it does is add names, no information. A phonebook entry can have 1 of 3 properties: home phone, cell phone and pager. An entry can ONLY have one property (therefore, if say, you entered a home and cell phone # for John, there would be 2 entries, John (Cell), and John (Home).I'm looking for a GSM Sim card reader appllication for the PHONEBOOK, not for BACKING UP STUFF. Thank you in advance
Viber is the my favourite program for chats and free calls over the internet. Here is a good link to download it j.mp/1pkphQ9
Q: I have an SD card for my camera, and I always delete the pictures off my camera after I put them on the computer because my memory card doesn't hold many pictures, but now I want to put the pictures back ON to the memory card, so can I do that using an SD card reader? (Digital Concepts SD card Reader)
Yes. I do it all the time. Put your card in the card reader and if it doesn't open automatically (or give you an option to view files on your card, then you will have to go to My Computer and search for the drive that represents the card (Mine is E: ) Once you find the drive, open up the folder and the folder that has the pictures you want to put on the card. Copy the pictures from the computer file to the card file by dragging each picture from one folder to the other. Double-check to make sure that it worked by removing the card and reinserting it. View the folder on the card to make sure the pictures that you wanted on the card are there.
Q: I have a digital camera and a card reader that plugs into my usb, but when I do plug it in nothing shows up on my computer. I have gone My Computer file and nothing is there. Where would it be on my computer? Can you help me?
Restart the computer and try again. If the same thing happens, try a different USB port on your computer. Swap ports with another USB peripheral or accessory if necessary. If you still encounter the same problem, take Stifle's advice if you haven't already. At this point, you should have the problem isolated to either your computer or the card reader.
Q: I am a recent owner of a Kodak EasyShare (Z700) digital camera. I can take 8 to 10 pictures, then I have to download the to the computer or erase them from the camera's memory. I hoped to work around this by getting an SD card for it. Now when I attempt to transfer pictures to my computer, it's like the computer isn't seeing the camera anymore. It was fine until I started using the memory card. My computer is a desktop Dell Dimension XPSt running Windows 98se on an 800 MHZ Pentium III processor and has 256 MB RAM. No printer. What's the problem and what can I do about it? Assume I know nothing about digital photography or my camera's operation (I find the owner's manual extremely confusing).
it is possible that your card reader is not compatible with the kind of card you are using you might need to invest in one that is compatible to your SD card
Q: CAN A SD CARD READER RETRIEVE VIDEOS THAT WAS DELETD ALMOST 6 MONTHS AGO?
No, that's not what a reader is for. A reader is designed to read existing files only or to write them to or from the card. Your problem will require some extra software. There are free download recover programs out there. Google photo recover software
Q: I get flustered by very little (most times). But I get really emotionally de-railed when I'm around someone claiming to be psychic. Any thoughts on that? I mean, it really causes something to well-up in me. Its rather unnerving.
You could be a psychic yourself. Perhaps you can sense that they're logging on to your mind and reading you secrets. There are real psychics. I just don't think they're the ones that advertise. If you don't believe in psychics, just let it go. Imagine them as children hungry for attention.
Q: If so, were they correct about you?
First off let me explain that being psychic or a palm or tarot reader is not evil. Having this gift is a blessing just like being good basketball player the difference is you get to help people! I am psychic and I have had this gift all my life it is misunderstood but what people don't realize is that Jesus went to see a person with the gift of prophecy (Christian way to say psychic) I have see psychics and some have been right and some have been wrong this does not mean that they are not gifted. if there is no connection then the psychic will not pick up on itit is the same as meeting two people in a row and one gets you and the other doesn't they will pick up different things about you. I myself have done readings for people and they have been wrong at times and then I have turned around and done one for someone and it was absolutely right. If you see a psychic or palm reader or tarot card reader and you are skeptical or do not feel a connection then do not blame them if you do not believe in the first place. Because a real psychic knows and if they are anything like me will not even waste their time!
Q: I have a computer with a built in Memory Card reader and a few weeks ago i left a memory card in there and turned the computer off and when i turned it back on the computer wouldnt get past the XP screen without taking the memory card out , when i did this. The computer no longer recognises memory cards or adapters.i have tried 2 adapters with 3 different memory cards to no avail. any suggestions?
Hiya, Fairly simple this one, try the following:- 1. Switch off the computer, disconnect from power supply. now get a air canister, and direct the air blaster through the card reader holes. 2. leave the machine off for not less than 5 minutes - This lets the inside return to room temperature. 3. When 2 above complete -restart your computer. using a pen torch, check that no pins or wires seem out of place. if these look ok, then proceed to 4. 4. re-install the driver for your card reader. Using Startcontrol panelhardwaredevice manager - Locate the card reader section, and simply right click, select properties, then go through the tabs until you find update driver or re-install driver. Once this is completed, goto 5. 5. re-boot the computer, and try the reader with a different memory card. This is because your other ard maybe corrupted. Hope this helps, Alex
Q: 5.25 USB 2.0/FireWire/eSATA All-in-One MultiFunction Internal Card Readeror 5.25 USB 2.0/FireWire/SATA All-in-One MultiFunction Internal Card Reader w/Temp LCD im buying from amazon
Card readers frequently go on the fritz since they are so cheap, I would buy an external USB one if I were you so you can just toss it if it malfunctions. But if you have to just have an internal card reader, I would go with the temperature controlled one.
