FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.
- Q: i have xp service pack 2.still the reader not working ,i need the driver for it.it a memory card reader
- did any drivers came with card reader if it did I would assume you have to install it, and be sure usb ports are working properly.
- Q: i have a asus gaming series .model G1S.With vista running on it . The built in sd card reader doesn't work.it recognizes when i plugin the sd card (64 mb LEXAR media)but, it cannot read it.I think it needs some drivers.I tried looking but had no success in finding it.I tried calling them but the phone number was incorrect form their website.I also looked in their downloads but, no luck.I havent tried any other type of sd card. Can someone please help me locate the drivers i need for my laptop to read the sd card?
- Right SD and micro SD should all work fine (providing you have the mSD adapter). However some card readers are a little fussy with SDHCs, I've had at least 2 times when the computer just failed to recognise an SDHC card, to my huge irritation.
- Q: And where to get them. Thanks
- Yes, Evan sharp will touch for money. Or nuts, only walnuts though.
- Q: I made a test video on my TESCO trail/deer camera on a PNY SD card. I have a PNY SD card and a PNY Multi-Slot USB amp; Flash Card Reader all together now (the card is in the reader). When I plug it into my Windows XP PC the PC recognises and installs the device but opens empty folders. Am I doing something wrong or is the card reader faulty? PNY support is a joke.
- Two computers I have have card readers built in and they both work with all the cards I have purchased both for cameras and for audio recording. I can transfer data from both of these devices either through USB or removing the memory card and putting them in the built in readers and they are seen as another drive on either computer. Not all cards are compatible with all devices so you might have a compatibility problem.
- Q: I insert the card into the reader and plug it into my computer and wait. I have also looked in my computer, and tried to find it all over the place. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
- Go the card reader company's website and download the driver if you are using an older system but if you are using a newer operating system like Vista or 7 I don't see this being the problem. If on a newer system return the reader or exchange it for another one. Also check to see if any lights come on when plugged into your computer to make sure the USB slot your sticking it in is catching the device and providing it with power but as I said before if you are sticking it in and nothing is happening it's faulty hardware. That's what she said.
- Q: I bought a universal memory card reader for 2 types of cards I have. When I plug it into my computer and insert a card it sees new hardware but how do I access what is stored on my cards? I cannot figure out how to open or access my stored photos. I have tried everything. Please help!
- Simple solution here's how I use Windows File Manager. Go to all programs or perhaps just your start button and look for the control panel. I have a control panel icon on my desktop because I access it all the time for photos. On the control panel icon - right click. You'll get a menu. Near the top of the menu you'll see explore. Click that and you'll get a screen that on the left, lists your drives and other devices. In the right you'll have all the control panel icons - for this purpose ignore all those icons. On the left screen, in the list of drives, you'll see something about a new drive, removable drive, or perhaps a drive that's been assigned a letter that's where you'll find your photos. Because, with a card reader, Windows sees it as a drive. Once in there you'll find your photos listed as files. Simply copy / paste to a folder on your hard drive and wala! If you need more help please email me, I'll be glad to walk you through the process if need be. Jim A
- Q: I just bought a 1G Transcend Micro SD card for my Cricket phone. When I put the card in my phone, it works fine. I bought it to put music on it, and when I put the SD card in it's adapter into my laptop's SD slot, it doesn't show up! When I remove the card I see drive F: show briefly and disappear.Thing is, the card works in my roommate's laptop, and her phone's card works in my laptop's card reader! What the hell is going on?
- If your phone came with a USB cable, try using that cable and connect the phone to your laptop, you should be able to put music on the phone. It will usually show up as two different drives (e.g. I: and J:), one for your phone, one for the card. You may have to install software (e.g. Nokia PC Suite for a Nokia brand phone).
- Q: I need help with getting the right stuff for my computer. I want to copy vhs tapes to my computer. Somebody told me to get a video capture card. What does that look like? Do I have to tear open my computer to install the card? And when hunting for a video capture card, some devices said it comes with a usb cable. What the heck is that? Is it like RCA Cable? How hard is it? What is a card reader? I think my computer came with a card reader, I'm not sure. Intel graphics media accelerator 900 is what my computer has. And I have 13in 1 media card reader (what's that?) I'm so stupid, I hope somebody can help me with this. Thank you.
- a million. located the DVD into the pc. 2. pass into the initiating up Menu and choose the 'pc' folder. 3. detect and appropriate click on the DVD indoors the 'pc' folder, and choose 'come upon'. 4. you will be able to opt to then come upon a rfile, i'm now no longer too helpful what it would desire to be reported as, yet purely click on some which you have faith may well be it, it could the two have a screenshot of the action image because of the reality the icon, or the widely happening media/video icon, purely open some 5. wonderful click on the rfile which you realize is the only, and click on 'duplicate' 6. Then insert your SD Card into the pc, and detect that still on 'pc' 7. enter the SD Card folder by ability of double clicking on it, and then 'wonderful click' in a loose folder or section (If there's a folder reported as video or some concern, then located it in that, because of the reality it may be the default folder the area your MP3 participant properly-knownshows video's) 8. attempt it on your MP3 participant choose I helped :)
- Q: I have a Digital Concepts 21 in 1 card reader. I am using XP on my laptop. Every other memory card I use I can send information back and forth with my card reader. I have been using a 256mb micro sd card and upgraded to an 8 gig micro sd card, but now my computer is saying that The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. How do I fix this without upgrading my card reader??
- An 8 GB Micro is an SDHC card, meaning that it is high-capacity. You need a card reader that supports SDHC cards to properly use the card. Offhand, I would guess that your card reader does not support SDHC.
- Q: Have a new laptop. The manual talks about an ExpressCard and the laptop has a Multi-in-1 card reader. Would like to know what these are and how to use.
- My HP has the same processor and I like the speed, although I don't have the nvidia video card but it has a web cam, and mic integrated. Mine is only 14.1 wide screen, but it has Windows XP pro installed and soon I'll get the free Vista business upgrade. I paid for mine after rebates and taxes $1.040oo I have only 120GB HD. I hope you get it for less than $1.500oo
