- You have 2 ways to get pics from your camera to your PC. 1. Thru the cable: quite complicated if you dont know anything about tech. You have to install the osft in the disc. comes with your camera, then plug your camera by the cable in the box too. 2. Buy a memory reader card, it should be an USB plugin gadget. You plug it, get the memory card from your camera, put it to the card reader, then copuy/past/delete the file as usual.

- its possible the partition information on the SD card is damaged. look into the program testdisk to see if you can repair it. if not, photorec (which comes with testdisk) can do a raw recovery of your image files. it would be a good idea to take it to a local computer repair store (one that doesn't suck, and not bestbuy) to see about recovery if its important. if the data is not, try to format the SD card and see if it works again. if you know someone with linux, try loading ubuntu live disc on your system and see if it can recognize your SD card. linux usually has an eaiser time understanding messed up data, which is why i prefer it for data recovery.

- Before I say the reader is faulty, do you have any other mem sticks to test with? Perhaps the adapter has worn down? When I put my MS-duo in my reader, I have to give slightly more force when I push it in that with an SD in order for Windows to read it properly.

- Steven white The smart cards are unique and assigned to individual receivers. You can't take one smart and use it in another receiver. The signal is encrypted so the reader will not work with DISH equipment. I hope this helps. Ray Calo DISH Network

- Place it into the M2 Slot. Either search for M2 slots on Google images, or keep trying to place the M2 in each slot on the card reader. Eventually you will find the right one because it fits snugly into place.
- Q: I have a SD card and when I put it in the slot of the card reader, it scratched the SD card ?Is it suppose to do that so it can make contact with the SD card and read it ?It's a Scandisk SD card from Radioshack for $11.Its a Sakar card reader from Walmart for around $10.Thanks for the help
- Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's an issue here. I'd be taking some stuff back, and having them looked at. I'd take them to Radio Shack. They're trained technicians, and they can tell you exactly what the problem is and how to resolve it.

- I sounds like you put it in backwards or upside down, you could try getting something super sticky and attaching it to just the card and pulling it out also do you mean sd card? if your getting pics from your phone you need to take out a micro sd card if you pu the sim card in a micro sd reader you got a bigger problem
- Q: I just purchased a SanDisk Mobile Mate SD+ memory card reader. When I put it into the computer, it acknowledged it was connected and said it installed it. So the F Drive appeared on the My Computers window, but when I click it, it says please insert a disc into the F Drive. The SDHC memory card I have was already in the reader. Am I doing something wrong? This is the 3rd reader, the other 2 died but were cheap brands. I originally used an Ativa card reader and the first time it worked perfectly. I was able to add and remove things on my memory card. Then it just stopped working and now I can't access the memory card contents through my computer. I have windows XP.
- surprising SD and micro SD could all artwork positive (offering you have the mSD adapter). however some card readers are somewhat fussy with SDHCs, i've got had a minimum of two cases while the computer basically did no longer know an SDHC card, to my extensive inflammation.

- plug the card reader into your computer. go into 'my computer', the card will show as a drive. double-click it then drag the folder containing your vids onto your desktop. if you go to youtube there are full instructions for uploading.
