- You need an E3 Flasher or similar device like a ProgSkeet. It's not a card reader. It's basically a second internal flash chip that can overwrite the one in your PS3. You have to open your system up to install it. But did your system come with 3.55 or lower orginally? If it had 3.72 out of the box you can't downgrade to 3.55 no matter what you use.

- Both have their advantages, but if your computer or laptop has the capability, I'd say card reader is definitely the way to go. For one thing, they're likely to be much cheaper than a data cable and for another, there aren't any special drivers or software you need to install before you can insert your memory card. - You have a micso sd card. You can oftentimes fine adapters for micro cards at best buy or target. I have seen a 4gb micro card for sale, which includes a mini bridge, which includes an sd card bridge. So, plug the micro into the mini into the sd card, and the sd card into your computer. If you don't have an sd card reader, then you could buy a usb card hub, or even a micro sdcard to usb.
