Changing an unhealed piercing can result in infection, irritation, prolonged healing time, hypertrophic scarring (the bumps) to form, and other problems that you shouldn't want to risk. I was stupid and took mine out after 3 months (despite being told by my piercer not to) to clean behind the bar. It was out for maximum a minute and when I put the bar back through the bottom hole was fine but the top bled and hurt a lot and wouldn't take the bar...it had closed up too quickly. Don't make the same mistake I did. I was so annoyed that I lost money and time because of my mistake. Hopefully by plastic you mean PTFE. If it's not, you need to go to a reputable professional and get proper jewelry put in. There is no way you can have everything sterile, don't do it yourself. PTFE is fine. Leave it alone.

Q: need some help here. im wanting to make a dune buggy using a car engine. I will use the cars suspension and front and rear axle.so all there is left to make is the chassis and the frame. what kind of metal shall i use. will it be a good idea to use scaffold tube for the chassis and thinner tubing for the frame. i want to use steel. anyone done this before and have any ideas?: If you don't want it to crush if it rolls, use at least schedule 40 steel pipe.

Q: I was at work today hauling boxes 60 feet up on scaffolding and was wondering when I hauled the box up, would the forces acting on the box make it harder to pull up as I got higher?: To my knowledge, the only force on the box to reckon with in your question is the force of gravity. For all practical purposes it stays the same in that distance you're working with. Gravity does decrease the higher up you go, but you won't notice it at all just going 60 feet. The box might feel heavier as you go up higher just due to your muscles getting tired from hauling it up the scaffold.
