- Q: My mum tried unscrewing them! But they just wont budge AT ALLSo i have this piece of metal stuck in my ear forever?I'm allowed to change it over. But i can't unscrew the balls? Why wont they unscrew
- Go back to the piercer, they can take it out for you.
- Q: It involves construction, just don't know what it is exactly? Thanks!
- Scaffolds are those things that look like square boxes put together on the sides of buildings/ houses that are under construction. They are used so workers can reach otherwise too high places with out ladders. Very stable. Click links for pictures.
- Q: I'm thinking of getting an industrial/scaffold piercing soon, but I'm worried that I might sleep on it and mess it up. I'm a deep sleeper and move around a lot in my sleep without realising it myself, so I'm rather worried that I might irritate the piercing by accident. Would it be better if I request the piercer to put in like, 2 separate earrings for me instead of one barbell? Thanks in advance!
- Try having the bar first so that your holes are lined up properly. If you do wind up irritating the piercing in your sleep, you can always switch it to two pieces of jewelry for the rest of healing. Most people tend to favor sleeping on one side of their head even if they are deep sleepers. If you know which side you favor, get pierced in the opposite ear to minimize the chances of bumping it.
- Q: We have warehouses for lease and only one caretaker to handle the changing of bulbs cleaning and painting.i need a sturdy, lightweight, and hopefully space saving scaffolding which can go up to 7 meters high.I have checked out some scissor lifts but they cost too much.
- personally i think you would get more use out of a scissor lift...
- Q: its come out with a whitey liquid only a little bit but not alot, how can i stop it?
- White discharge is completely normal with unhealed piercings. You need to either be doing sea salt soaks or saline soaks to keep it clean - twice a day for ten minutes each soak. Don't use anything but that - soaps can cause build up around the piercing. Signs of infection to look out for are excessive redness extending beyond the piercing area (some redness is normal when it is healing), hot to the touch, and yellow/green pus with an odor. If it does get infected do not take it out. That can trap the infection in your body and really do some harm...with infection you just want to keep doing sea salt soaks and if it doesn't clear up within a week or two then you'd want to go to your piercer who might recommend you go to a doctor. It's not always necessary to spend the money on going to the doctor with a piercing infection.
- Q: Do you have a change in the law for scaffolding used outdoors?
- Does ... WHO have a change in the law? What law? Where are you located? Such laws are generally LOCAL, and so you'd need to check with the building officer at City Hall.
- Q: A 100 kg scaffold is 7 m long. It is hanging with two wires, one from each end. A 600 kg box sits 1.8 m from the left end. What is the tension in the left hand side wire?(g = 9.8 m/s2)answer in newtons
- This question can be solved by first drawing a free-body diagram and then summing the moments (torques) around the right end of the scaffold. We'll designate the tension in the left hand wire with T. So after making our free-body diagram we find the sum of the moments around the right end of the scaffold (where each moment = force x distance from point we are taking it about), setting it to zero because the system experiences no angular motion 0 = 7m * -T + 600kg * 9.8m/s^2*(7m - 1.8m) + 100kg * 9.8m/s^2 * 3.5m (Notice that T is negative because it would produce a clockwise rotation about the right end of the scaffold, and the weights are positive because their rotation would be counter-clockwise) Now we just solve for T, which comes out to be T = 4858N
- Q: Thinking of getting one:)
- Mine didn't hurt too bad. Not nearly as much as I thought it would. The first hole didn't hurt very much, but after my adrenaline was used up, I felt more with the second hole. It was a lot of pressure and then the shove through for both. It's well worth it though for a couple of minutes of pain. The worst part was learning not to sleep on it and trying to keep the keloids away! :)
- Q: I mean, really. How is it stable? Most scaffolding is tall with a narrow base and doesn't seem to be secured to anything. Can anyone tell me how it works?
- anything over 3 sections high is secured to the building by breakaway clips or no. 9 tie wire.
- Q: Dose brand scaffold keep a week of pay?
- Does, not dose. And I have no idea what the rest of your question means.
