Q: I know guns are supposed to be unsanitary and not good for you, BUT I want to get an industrial piercing on my left ear and I'm terrified of the needle. I currently have a cartilage (helix) piercing on my right ear that I got done with a gun, it didn't hurt a lot and healed quickly. Just suck it up and go to a real piercing shop!

Q: I have just returned from Budapest and was amazed to see that a lot of the scaffolding used there is made of wood and not metal . The construction itself is wonderful and almost an artwork but I cannot see any advantage in using the wood which will rot in time.: The wood scaffold you talk about is not a working platform. It is put in place to protect people below from falling stonework on old buildings which are waiting for repair. I am sure that when the work can be done it will be replaced by a metal scaffold. As it may be a while before the work can be afforded the wood structure is cheaper to leave in place to keep the public safe.

Q: Hi there,I got a scaffold piercing done on Sunday and it's become infected (according to my doctor). I've been cleaning it, etc but I caught rather a bad cold which affected it quite badly. It's amazingly sore, swollen and getting worse day by day. My doctor told me to take it out now but also gave me some antibiotics because I said I'd rather not remove it. She said something about the swelling affecting my circulation and that I could always have it done again when I was feeling better. What should I do? Q: righ so im wanting to get my scaffoldin done.....n iv seen lyk some ppl get lyk lumps where its been periced...does this usualy happen..or is it coz the bar is to small or somethingand alsooo.....would it be better to get the bar straight in there or put barbells in it till it healed?: Sometimes it happen when not fixed properly, and not cleaned well after making the hole. .
