Q:I have a gig with my band and we need something to use as an amp stand. i was thinking a foldable chair would work the best, help?: Most likely not, if it's a stage amp. You're going to be making a lot of noise (assumably for a long time!) and the vibrations tend to move things about, even things as big as amps on chairs. It'd just be better to lay it down on the floor. If you really want it risen above the ground, try using something more stable, like a table or stool.

Q:I have a pretty basic office swivel chair, but the back of it is now very wobbly. It tilts to the right and back a bit most of the time, but can be rotated to stay upright like a normal chair back. I checked underneath the chair and it seems like there's nothing there to really secure the connection to the back. I've also tried tightening that knob on the bottom of the chair but it doesn't do anything. What can I do about this??: You haven't named the manufacturer of the chair. If this is a STEELCASE chair it has a lifetime guarentee, call your dealer who sells Steelcase office equipment. But then if it was a Steelcase chair it probably wouldn't need fixing. Contact the manufacturer and ask them for help.

Is it okay for my 4 month old?: We have a recling one that straps onto a normal kitchen chair. My 2 month old sits in it all the time but not to eat. I put it in the kitchen when I'm doing dishes or cooking. He LOVES sitting there and it's great because he can still see me and I talk or sing to him while I get stuff done. Plus it gives him something to do other than sit in his swings or bouncy seat. I don't recommend putting a baby that young in there to eat though. Babies that little shouldn't be eating solids. But I really do love the seat to just let him sit in. I'd most definitely suggest it to anyone. The one we have was only 30$ I believe at Target. So it was much cheaper than most highchairs and again, it's nice for him to sit in for a change of scenery. It also takes up waaaay less space because it's on a chair not free standing. Q:we have to make a news paper chair only useing 2 thursdays papers and 6ft of duck tape: I would recommend starting by separating sheets of paper and rolling them individually, really tightly. This actually creates a super strong element, and secure it by using a little piece of tape. Once you have several tightly rolled sheets (maybe about 1/2 diameter) then you can start assembling them. Be creative here, you may have to do trial and error to see what works the best. Maybe grouping thirty rolls and taping together can create the base/stool part (you may want to add more depending on how big the chair will be or how much paper you have left). Q:I keep find these wads of long hair at the edge of my office chair fabric seat. It is so disgusting. Why do so many hairs gather in that spot?: You slide down the chair to get off or while you're working. Your hair falls out.. or somebody else's hair does, and they land onto the chair into the seat. You somehow manage to get them underneath your butt and you slide down the chair and this sweeps all the hairs togehter into clumps at the edge of the chair.

Q:i have an eames lounge chair how do I find the year and authenticity of it?: To find age, check each wood veneer, some models have a manufactured date stamped. If wood veneer is made of Rosewood, then it is definitely made before 1981. Other than that, its hard to find exact date of creation. the best is to ask Herman Miller. To find authenticity, check the bottom of chair and ottoman. If it is an original Herman Miller lounge chair, it should have a metal circle plate with H logo at the center with 'Designed by Charles Eames' around it. It also should have a patent sticker. Some of later models have a black rectangle shape sticker says 'herman miller'. The current model have a silver sticker with 'herman miller' on it.
