FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.
- Q: I was interested in a card reader for my android. I would like one for a yard sale, craigslist posted ads, payment from friends or family, however it appears that the card readers are only for business owners in which I am not. Just a regular person trying to make quick cash here and there. Could i be misinterpreting the information on these sites? Are there any card readers that you can use personally with no business relations?
- people in yard sales know to bring cash,,, they won't want to hand a credit card. friends and family paying you money?
- Q: i got one for xmas and i tried everything to try to get it to work i plug it in to my laptop and then nothing happens so can you explain how to do it thnx
- it should come with detailed instructions and maybe a troubleshooting section
- Q: I have a small business and I want to know which credit card reader I should get for my iPhone.
- the scanner themselves are risk-free the question is with reference to the enterprise/person achieving the transactions. only visual demonstrate unit your account and if something shows up that would desire to no longer only call your economic company. you're no longer in charge for transactions which you probably did no longer authorize. if fraudulent transactions do take place your economic company will cancel your card project yet another one to you and supply you with back the money that replaced into charged
- Q: i just bought one and it is usb powered. i have windows xp so it doesnt require me to install anything. it recognises it as a removable storage device but when i put the sdhc or sd cards in it it asks me to format then it says unable to format. it is a real pain and i dont understand what is going on. i cant even look at my files let alone transfer :( please help
- Hmmmit sounds like your cards might not be compatible with the reader. They may fit but I've noticed that some older devices won't work with newer cards, and some older cards won't work with the newer devices. For instance, I can't use 1GB memory cards in my new camera, and I can't use my HC SD card in my newer camera. Or, you might need to install a particular driver for the reader. If you have the package, you could try giving support a call and see if you need to install anything for it to read your cards. good luck :)
- Q: I just baught a 4GB SDHC Card for my New Digital Camera. When I put my Card in the Card Reader with the Label face Up, my PC went Bonkers, and Rebooted. When I poked around with it more, I found out the SD Slot is made, so the SD Cards have to be put in Up-Side-Down!!After I discovered this, I tried to read the Card, and my PC couldn't ID it.I tested a 16MB SD Card , and it works Fine. My PC reads it, and my Camera can use it, too. I Then put the 4GB DSHC Card in the Camera, and it came up with an Error.I took it out, and cleaned it off, and put it back in the Camera, and it NOW works fine in the Camera. All Pictures I took are there, nothing lost. But when I put the 4GB SDHC Card back in the Media Card Reader in my PC, it STILL doesn't see it!!At one piont, it said it was Empty. So, is my SDHC Card Bad, or is my Media Card Reader unable to Read from it?!?And if so, Can I Update the MediaCard Reader with a New ROM (or Driver) to allow it to use DSHC Cards?
- What model is your card reader? Not all card readers can read SDHC. This is probably what is going on with your card. Your card is probably fine, but you'll need a new card reader that can read SDHC or you can just use your camera as the card reader. But I would strongly suggest a card reader over using your camera. I don't know if they are any card readers that can be updated by firmware to read SDHC.
- Q: 1. What is a USB cable?2. What is a Card Reader?3. What is the differences?4. Which one do I need for my camera to upload pictures onto a computer? or would it be best to have both?
- Cable: It's a way for you to connect your camera directly to your computer via a USB Port on your system and the port on your camera. Reader: It's a small device into which you insert your memory card then plug that into a USB port. Windows will see the reader as a drive so you can copy/paste your photo files into the folder of your choice. No extra software required. The difference is that you don't need any special software to make the reader work - it talks directly to Windows as I wrote above. I use them all the time. I have three digital cameras and all use different styles of cards so I have three different readers. They all work very well. So well in fact I have no photo upload software installed. I, of course, have a viewer program but no upload software - very handy indeed. You can use the software that came with your camera but I see lots of write ups here about problems with it. Fact is I've had those same problems so that's why I went to readers. The readers have never failed to connect to Windows and they make what can be a complicated job very simple. Great news, they're really cheap to boot!
- Q: I need to understand how credit card reader at vending machines work. Does Reader connect direct with each credit card Company, accepts the transaction and charge fee to reader account? How much is the fee?
- reckoning on what the machines are merchandising. some do settle for credit enjoying cards for great value ticket products. i think of you have been thinking with regard to the machines that sell candies and sodasi do no longer think of you will ever see that i think the main considerable reason is that credit card businesses value the seller a fee each and every time a credit card is used. For small products, the cost may be too severe to be worthwhile. that's a similar reason some gasoline stations (say ARCO) won't settle for credit enjoying cards in any respect or some stations will value you greater for credit card transactions.
- Q: What are the advantages of the card reader?
- While the plug-and-play approach itself is much easier.
- Q: As i want to install meego OS on my Nokia N900, I need a micro sd card which i have, and a card reader to write information on memory card. So i'm asking is it possible to use my N900 as memory card reader?
- make certain the cardboard is pushed in wisely yet another component is to sparkling the chip on it as any moderate little bit of dirt may result it, or the really different issues is think ofyou've got formatted it in mistakes
- Q: I'm doing a project in school, my basic goal is to demonstrate how insecure RFID credit cards are, I need to find a usb RFID card reader for less than 25 $ which will read a full credit card number, all of the readers i have found online seem to only read the first 10 digits of a proximity card. I really dont know much about the subject. does anybody have any suggestions for me? .also i would like to assure all of you that i do not plan on reading any credit cards other than my own.
- Like all Socket’s data collection products, the RFID Reader card is supported by SocketScan keyboard wedge software which sends the RFID tag ID, data from selected memory blocks or both to any Windows application as virtual keystrokes – No custom programming needed! A small RFID Demo application allows writing to the accessible tag memory blocks for demonstration purposes. The SocketScan SDK is available for developers who wish to embed control of the RFID Reader read/write functionality into their applications.
