FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.
- Q: I recently got a micro sd card with a t flash card reader. Every time I click on the removable disk it freezes for a sec and asks to be reformatted, I click yes and then it says it can't reformat it. What am I doing wrong?
- Your card must be bad. Setting it near a magnet, getting it wet, or dropping it could have ruined the chip inside of the card. If I were you, I would return the card to the manufacturer and get a new one. Memory cards shouldn't have to be reformatted like that at all.
- Q: I plugged in my card reader for my camera. It used to work fine but now whenever I plug it in, a little icon in the bottom-right corner pops open saying Safely Remove Hardware when I roll over it. When I click it, it's just telling me that I can stop using this device at anytime.Nothing pops up when I put my camera card into the card reader that's plugged into a USB port. I'm not sure what to do. Is there anyway I can make the option pop up saying to upload my pictures? It used to do it by itself but it isn't anymore. Please help me.
- Did you recently change SD cards from 2GB to 4GB? Some card readers physically can't read the 4GB cards, there's nothing wrong with them, they were just designed to read the 2GB ones. Buy another card reader that can read the 4GB cards.
- Q: i have several memory cards from a canon i bought years ago, well, i bought the rebel xti because i figured i'd save money on memory cards, i put it in, and the camera works fine. i plugged my Sandisk memory card reader in and my computer picked up that it was plugged in, but once i plugged in the card itself, my computer wouldn't read it anymore. i put in other cards, ones with pictures i took from another camera, and it worked fine. so i can only assume it has something to do with the camera itself or the files. can anyone help me out, is there anything i can do to make this work?if it helps, it's not really a rebel xti, it's the kiss digital x, which is the same thing. i know vista has problems with things, could it be vista, my computer has a built in reader, but it doesn't have a slot for the cf memory card. it only reads sd and smaller.(thats why i was using a different reader)
- If your card reader has a detachable USP cable, the end of it might fit into the port on the side of the camera (mine does). When the camera is turned on and the card in the camera, your computer should see the camera. Double click on it and you should see the images. Otherwise you can use the cables that came with the camera if you've installed the software.
- Q: I have a Acer laptop about 5 years old and the card reader just suddenly stopped working. Is there a way for me to fix this or should I just get a adapter so I can plug it into a USB port?
- this may be a software problem so go into acer website or make a search in the internet to get the definition drive of ur card reader . when u get it as zip - I guess- extract it and double click the extracted file to reinstall the drive .so ur card reader may works again . if any ather question tell me ,i can help u more . good luck .
- Q: I have a Canon Rebel XTi and I haven't been able to use the chord that connects the camera to the computer in a really long time. So I bought a memory card reader which worked perfectly fine up until today. Now the card reader freezes the computer whenever I plug it in. I borrowed a friends camera cable and it won't even read that anything is connected. Any idea what the problem is?
- I believed the problem lies with your computer and not the camera since it cannot even read card reader properly. Have you tried rebooting the computer to see if it works? It is still does not work, try another USB port but you have to reboot the computer first. Additional: It is possible that the card reader itself is not working. Have you tried the card reader on 3 different computers? Do you also have another CF card to test (i believed XTi uses CF cards) if the problem is the card reader or CF card. It is also possible that the CF itself is corrupted, the computer cannot recognize the card.
- Q: What are the main features of the electric card reader?
- 1. High-performance embedded, non-contact IC card high-speed read and write modules;
- Q: I would like to install external card reader in my old comp, but don't know would Win98 Se accept it. Comp mentioned have USB 2.0 and Win98 Se support it (I use it for printer/scanner, attaching digital camera directly and so on), but card reader I wanted to buy doesn't have Win98 Se listed in supported OS. Oldest listed is Win MEsomeone told me that I can still install this card reader, even win98 Se is not listed, and it should be recognized anyway, if my OS already supports USB 2.0. (as I said, it does). Same person said, in worse case, I would maybe need to find drivers on net and install them manually, instead automatic recognitionbut is that correct? Will my Win98SE recognize a card driver? Any opinion?
- After putting the USB device, Windows 98 will ask you for a driver. Then use the download from this site as the driver : technical-assistance .uk/kb Windows 98 doesn't naturally support USB Mass Storage and card readers, but this driver will allow it.
- Q: I was a bit frazzled when buying my computer because I was in school at the time and so much stuff was going on, or else I would have bogged down those guys with questions. (Lol, I stuck to the generic zillion I usually ask)and was just wondering about that. Alsowhat is a super-multi drive?
- A 14in1 card reader means it can accept 14 different card standards. And a super multi drive can read/write cd, DVD-r, DVD+r, DVD+/-r and the RW's.
- Q: I purchased a targus TRG-SD20 digital card reader/writer. I installed the drivers. The problem is my laptop doesn't detect the card reader. I have win XP on my laptop, and the drivers are for win98. I know this shouldn't matter, but why won't my laptop detect this.
- Check the manufacturers website, and see if it is compatible with XP. Many devices were orphaned by windows, and they did not provide any drivers for the reader.
- Q: Can anyone give me research information on the new square up readerfor example the year it came out, the functions, etcThanks!
- The device came out several years back at about the introduction of new intelligent mobile devices. These device is effective and reliable tool to accept wireless credit card payments.
