Specifications
1. Material is Q195(C is 0.06% ~ 0.12%)
2. Zinc coating is 40g/m2 ~ 60g/m2
3. Tensile strength is 400N ~ 600N
Galvanized wire's first stage is drawing.
there are two kinds of drawing machine: powder drawing and water drawing. powder drawing is fit for junior drawing(6.5mm~4.0mm). One powder drawing machine has 4 tanks and 4 molds. One tank is matched with a mold. Each of them are offered energy by a electromotor. 0.9mm(max)can be "eat" when the wire cross a mold. There are no loss of weight during drawing.
Water draw is used for senior draw.(≤4.0mm)The container is filled with water, soap and 8 molds. Compared with powder draw, water draw can save lots of room and the wire cannot be broken.
After drawing, the wire is thinner, but also very hard. The tensile strength is about 700N. These wire can be used to produce nail and mesh panel. For galvanized wire, it still need annealing
Galvanized wire's second stage is anneal.
Anneal is to low the tensile strength of wire. The stove is solid and built with red bricks. The architecture of anneal stove is cuboid. Different thickness of wire require different temperature. Range is from 700°C to 900°C. Output of the anneal stove, the tensile strength is 400N~600N.
Galvanized wire's third stage is chlorhydric acid washing.
After the draw and anneal, the wire is thinner, softer but also much more dirty. It needs chlorhydric acid washing to remove the impurities. Chlorhydric acid washing requires water pool and chlorhydric acid pool. The density of chlorhydric acid is 17%. In the Chlorhydric acid pool, there is a caldron used for the emission of vapor.
Galvanized wire's fourth stage: Zinc coating
After the chlorhydric acid pool, water pool is also necessary.
- Q: A long horizontal wire carries a current of = 52 . A second wire, made of 1.00--diameter copper wire and parallel to the first, is kept in suspension magnetically 5.0 below. What is the magnitude of the current in the lower wire?
- The lower wire is kept in suspension magnetically means that the downward force of gravity is equal to the upward magnetic force. Its NOT an easy problem so we need to solve it in small steps. Let's find the two forces acting on the lower wire: (*) Downward force of gravity = mg = (volume) x (density) x (gravitational acceleration) = (pi r^2 L) x(8920)x(9.8) = 0.06896L We assume the radius of the wire is 0.5 mm or 0.0005m, copper density is 8960 N/m^3, gravitational acceleration = 9.8 m/s^2 (**) Upward magnetic force = mu(zero) x i(one) x i(two) x L / (2 pi d) = 2.08x10^(-4) L i(two) mu(zero) is a constant = 4 pi 10^(-7), i(one) is the current in the first wire = 52A, i(two) is the unknown current in the second wire, d is the distance between the wires = 5 mm or 0.005m The forces are equal, therefore 0.06896L = 2.08x10^(-4) L i(two) We divide both sides by L (the unknown length of the lower wire) and now we can solve for the current i(two) ANSWER: i(two) = 331.5 A
- Q: Which wire is quot;hot, white or black?
- Usually, most Fire Alarm wiring is color-coded red and black. FPL and other fire alarm cables are usually red/black for a 2 conductor cable. If a system is wired class 1, with THHN conductors in conduit, I have seen both black and white used as the positive lead. The electricians who wire it are likely to use whatever convention they are used to. If they deal with low voltage, they could use white for + and black for -. If they are high voltage electricians, they could do the opposite. The AC service, (120V or 240V) will be wired per National Electrical Code (NFPA 70), which is black = line, white = neutral.
- Q: My tail light work but when i hit the breaks everything go out. Any answers? Standard 4 wire
- probably not a good enough ground connection make sure it is wired correctly white wire is the ground yellow wire is the left blinker and brake light green wire is right blinker and brake light brown wire is tail lights
- Q: ceiling fan connections which wire goes where?
- Red on a ceiling fan is hot, and the blue is hot for the lights on it, which will be attached with the red..NOW....the wires on the light box your going to put it in...if this house is in usa, the black wire will be hot, the white wire is a nuetral, and the bare copper is the ground..the green wire on your fan will attach to the bare copper
- Q: is it safe to use twist on wire connector to connect my new stereo or should i crimp instead?
- I would suppose in this case there is a good better best way to do it. IMO I would never do twists on a stereo, at the very least, do butt connectors. Best way would be to solder each wire one by one and seal with heat shrink. That will give you a very clean look and you'll be proud of yourself :)
- Q: I had gotten 5 commercial solar cells from siliconsolar. But, I need to know where could I get wires to connect to the solar cells, in order to harness the cells energy.
- Visit Gem Energy Australia to get wires
- Q: I recently took out my old ceiling fan, and now there is a Black, Red, And White Wire hanging from the ceiling, I bought a track light that has a box with a Green, White, and Black wire in it. Which wires am i supposed to connect,It's for the light Switch, and I'm not sure when the house was built, its a Reading, PA Row house.
- It looks like you had a fan and a light, with separate wall switch controls. The black was the fan and the red was the light (or vice versa) and the neutral for both. Connect the black to black, white to white and cap off the red one and turn on the switch. If the light doesn't work, switch it off again (at the breaker, silly), connect the red ceiling wire to the black wire of the light, cap off the ceiling black wire and try again.
- Q: Coming from my ceiling I have a black, a grey, 2 white, 2 bare and a red wire. Coming from my ceiling fan/light fixture is a green, black, black with a white stripe and a white wire. How exactly would I go about wiring this? It is a two switch setup without a remote.Thank you in advance.
- Call the manufacturer about your ceiling fan. It may be designed to work with a light kit. I've done this myself. The grey and red sound like wiring that works with the light kit. The black, white, and green wires are hook to your house wire. (House wire is black, white, and bare (ground)).
- Q: I need to get some wire to hook my capacitor to my amp and every wire I see says that it's power/ground cable wire. Does this mean it's power wire? Or ground wire? Or does it mean you can use it for both?
- you can use it for both same stuff
- Q: Is there such a wire that is able to be wired that can actually keep something cold, like insulated? If not, is there anything remotely like it? thank you for your help.
- Insulated wires is commonly used for current carrying electrical wires. There is a cover of insulating material over the copper or aluminium wire which saves us from electric shock , short circuit etc. However, you are using the term insulating wires in the context of thermal insulation. There are so many thermal insulating materials as used in refrigerators and other applications but they are not in the shape of wires.
