- Q:when i wire these together the light stays on. help
- Should be a switch somewhere, if not you would need to install one.
- Q:does anyone have a wiring diagram for a rccb or can you explain how to wire one up . as an rcd has a wiring for connecting to earth but an rccb does not have that.
- RCCB is Resual Current Circuit breaker, so it operates sensing the difference in voltage in the phases and neutral... ie if an earth leakage is occured there will be a difference in the current flowing through and hence activating the trip ckt if the RCCB and causing trip. Thus the earth connection is not required for the rccb.. so go ahead without the earth wire...
- Q:first wire change
- Depends on how many little kinks he's putting in it. Also depends on how fast he works, if your wire needs a lot of work or a little, and if he already has an idea of what he wants to do or if he's just guessing along the way. It shouldn't take longer for him to make the actual kinks than it does the remove and replace the wire. That's a little more labor intensive and can take about 5-10 minutes for each wire. The whole thing, uninterrupted might last 30-45 minutes.
- Q:hi to all, pls try to help me,, to get the kawasaki zxr250 cdi color wiring diagram!?i hope that you help me..i really hope that i use my kawasaki big bike,.....thank you !!!!!rose,,
- Nothing free online for that. Just go to the nearest dealer and get the book. Or book store get the manual there.
- Q:On what actually does ampere depends, thickness of wire or number of turns of wire or what else? Electrical
- Your okorder /... and get ohms/1000 ft for the size of wire you select. Also check fusing current while you are there. Eg, #30 has 105 ohms/1000'. So if you have 10' of wire, it's resistance would be 105/100 = 1.05 ohms. Once you have the resistance, use ohms law and the voltage applied to calculate current. For 12 volts, I = 12/1.05 or 11 amps. Fusing current is 10 amps (which is in the open, not in a coil) so you need more length or thicker wire. For AC, and coils, you need more complicated calculations.
- Q:I just bought an exhaust tip with leds which needs to be wired up to the brake lights on my mazda 626. Can somebody tell me which colour wire it is (positive) on the wiring to the brake light? There are a few wires and I dont know which one it is! Thanx
- Its either red or green, sometimes white if there is a black ground wire.
- Q:Hello,I'm trying to replace my old ceiling fan with a new one but i can't seem to figure out the wiring.I have three wires coming out of the ceiling: 1) Two white ones that were connected together when the old ceiling fan was installed2) A grey wireI have four wires in the new fan:1) Black2) Black and White (would connect with the black based on the instructions)3) Green Grounding4) WhiteCan you help me figure out the connections. Thanks!
- I wish contractors followed the wiring / building codes. The white wires are neutral wires that return the circuit back to the panel. Grey? where in the world did that come from BUT I have to assume that it's the hot wire from the panel. Black black with the white tracer to your grey wire. White to the white if at all possiable put a screw in the box with the green wire or at least wrap it around the screw from the horseshoe that you are putting in the box. Be sure that the switch is off. If it's wired properly there will be no hot wire in the ceiling box. The hot is open at the switch. That's why the light doesn't turn on. Follow me?
- Q:I'm looking to install a ceiling fan in a fixture that recently had just a light (no idea if it ever had a fan). When I removed the old light, I found that there were three white wires from the ceiling twisted together and connected to the white wire on the light fixture, one black wire from the ceiling connected to the black wire on the fixture, and three black and one white ceiling wires just capped together, not connected to the light fixture.Any idea what the last 4 wires are? I would think that I just need to leave them alone, however, I have to replace the box in the ceiling with one that is rated for a fan, which means I need to (temporarily) disconnect them. I have the breaker turned off that turned the light off, but can I be 100% sure that power to those other 4 wires if also off?
- You don't have to know what they are, but other anwers are good esp with regard to safety. You can choose either to leave them alone or disconnect them and reconnect them inside your new ceiling box. If you want to disconnect them, be sure to mark all the cables first so you can't make a mistake when you reconnect them.
- Q:Wire diagram
- Hello there George, It has become common over the past few years that non-residential boilers are wired with EPO (emergency, power off) switches just outside each door to the boiler room. This is similar to having fire alarm pull boxes by the exits. I do not know of any jurisdiction that requires it for a residence. On occassion I've seen the 24 volt circuit for the thermostat being switched, which is a bit sketchy. Normally the 120 volt circuit for the controller is switched. The switches used are of the pushbutton type.
- Q:I have a water valve that I need to connect but I don't know how to read this diagram. I'm unsure how to connect the wires to the cold and hot valve. I have four wires that need to be connected. A pair of white caps with one blue wire and one orange; and a pair of black caps with one blue wire and one yellow wire. Sorry if this sounds confusing but I have no idea how to explain it well. Thanks!
- Cold Valve one at the lower left of the schematic should have a yellow wire which connects directly to the controller at the P5 .1 terminal. The blue wire will connect with a wire nut to a blue wire which is a common ground for all three valves. Cold valve 2 has an orange wire which connects to the controller at the P5 .4 terminal in the blue wire should connect to the same blue wire but in a different place again with a wire nut. If that isn't clear enough post a picture of the and maybe I can explain it better.
