Q: What is the phase voltage of the three alternating current lines?
The voltage between each phase line (FireWire) and the neutral line (zero line) in the three-phase AC circuit is called the phase voltage, and its RMS value is expressed by UA, UB, UC. The voltage between the phase lines is the effective value Expressed in UAB, UBC, UCA. Because the three-phase AC power supply of the three coils of the AC voltage phase difference of 120 °, three coils for star connection, the phase voltage is equal to the root of the line voltage 3 times. We usually talk about the voltage is 220 volts, 380 volts, is the three-phase four-wire power supply phase voltage and line voltage. China's daily circuit, the phase voltage is 220V, line voltage is 380V (380 = root number 3 × 220). Engineering, the discussion of three-phase power supply voltage size, usually refers to the power line voltage. Such as three-phase four-wire power supply voltage 380V, refers to the line voltage 380V.
Q: Is the WDZ-BYJF wire the same as the BV wire?
1 Verify that the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet that is capable of supplying power (to confirm that the power outlet is capable of supplying power, insert a power cord from a desk lamp or other electrical device and turn it on)
Q: HelloRecently I installed 100W Bulbs in my home and noticed that the light fixtures became extremely hot and within 10 minutes they had started melting the insulation. So i looked at the wire and found that it was 18 Gauge and found that through all fixtures of the home some of them with at least 20 feet of wiring is this up to code? I also noticed that many sockets would not allow a laptop to charge or even a cell phone what could be the cause of this? I'm in ontario canada.
I believe that Ontario codes requires that NMD90 14 gauge wire be used.
Q: I had an electrician pre-wire a switch and whip for an in cabinet light. The cabinets are now in but the whip is lost within the wall and I can't find it by peering through the hole where the light will live. Any suggestions for how to locate it without opening up a huge hole?
Use a Wire coat hanger to fish for it, you know its there, get busy.
Q: How is the electrical wiring configuration for North America differs from that in Bratain/Western and Eastern Europe,Latin America Asia/Japan and Australia/Pacific?
The USA and most of North America uses 60 hertz and 120/240 volts. Most of the rest of the world uses 50 hertz and 240 volts. Small differences in voltage are common from place to place. Hertz or frequency might also vary a little.
Q: I recently had an electrical estimate done on a house my wife and I just purchased and received their quote via email. On the itemized list of the work we were wanting done, they listed 2000' of 12/2 Romex (way, way more than we would need) for $1200. I can go to nearly any hardware store and find 1000' spools for under $200. The labor rate also seemed pretty high, but I think I could deal with that if they do a decent job. Will an electrician use wiring supplied by the homeowner? Or are they likely to brush me off in order to keep their markup on supplies? Thanks
Although the price of wire has gone up dramatically, $1200 dollars for 2000 feet is marked up considerably. Unless the price includes the wire-nuts, boxes and covers and Romex clips, and whatever else, (cost per foot). Let's hope you get better quotes from your other bidders. You might ask them to explain the tremendous mark-up! If the price is for the Romex alone and not all the other stuff used to run and terminate the Romex, then you could say that you will be supplying the Romex.
Q: I Just bought a house and in the bathroom are exposed electrical wires that should be hooked into an outlet. I just want to safely cover the wires and out them in the wall. How do i do this? I was thinking wire nuts, but are those not for connecting two wires together?
Where is the other end of that exposed wire connected to? Can you just cut it off clean with side cutters (wire cutters)? The wiring in the heater has a high temperature insulation rating but not general purpose duct tape. It will be a fire hazard. If you're going to get a new heater then just remove the bad wire for now.
Q: Do you want to use fireproof mud for fire in the electrical cabinet? Is there any national standard?
What you say should be the voice part of the integrated cabling system
Q: I want install 4 outlets 120/20A next each other in separate circuit breakers. The distance between panel and outlets around 150 feet. and run conduit 3/4. To save cost. How many or a minimum #12 wires can I use. I have 4 hot wires dedicated for each circuit breakers. And for neutral wires can i use 1or 2 white to all outlets and one green for all 4 outlets or I have to use sepreate neutral/w to each outlet from the panel.
The answer to this question is none of your business. If you were qualified to install the outlets you would already know the answer. If not you are running the risk of electrocuting people, causing an electrical fire or actually harming yourself. People who try to save money by running thier own cables are kidding themselves and risking lives. Call an electrician stupid!!!!!
Q: What is the difference between a radiation wire and a wire without radiation?
Copper and aluminum single-core wire 50 into the point of the cable 10 or less As for the accessories that should be just as large as the cable will not enter the high cost as long as the good manufacturers like, who want goods, immediately called the manufacturers made. The first two days to go, choose to do business you see who has so much cable at home, ah, are manufacturers direct delivery
