THANKS!: concrete is best colored when it is mixed since your patio is already cured it probably wouldn't give you good results to try and stain it now. there are products on the market but they don't color evenly and can be blotchy because they don't absorb evenly into the concrete. you could try masonry paint but it will wear and you'll be repainting every few years good luck

Q:Any one know the differnt ratios of sand and cement for the different strengths of concrete eg. 25N 35N etc.?: Cement to aggregate ratios do not determine concrete strength. The water to cement ratio is what determines strength. Sand, gravel and other aggregates act as a bonding agent. Normal ratio is 7-15% cement to 14-21% water with remaining percentage as the aggregate.

Some types of cements are stronger than some types of glue and some glues are stronger than some cements. For instance, polyurethane glue is much stronger than rubber cement. But I don`t recommend to do that because over time the adhesive will dry out and possible have some or all of your wall tiles to fall off the wall. I just took out some old wall tile in my bathroom that was just what you asked about and the tile came off the wall very easy. The glue pretty much stayed on the wall but the tile came(or almost fell) off very easy. Just giving you a heads up on some issues I had. Then use 'thin-set' to install the tile to the concrete(cement) board. Then grout it and your done an done right. Hoped this helped. Good Luck.
