The roving can be chopped into different lengths like 6mm, 12mm and 24mm. it called AR Glassfiber chopped strand.

For 12mm, it is 20kgs/bag, 40bags/pallet, one 20' container can load 20pallets, 16 tons in total.
And if it is 24mm long, it is 15kgs/bag, 40bags/pallet, and one 20' container can load 20pallets, 12 tons in total

- Yes, you should be able to just replace the area of wood that is bad. - To remove blood stains from cement, wet the stains with water and cover them with a layer of sodium peroxide powder; let stand for a few minutes, rinse with water and scrub vigorously. Follow with the application of a 5 percent solution of vinegar to neutralize any remaining sodium peroxide.

- Use Hardibacker and seal the seams with tape and thinset. Use thinset to set the tile using 1/4 spacers. I have used and recommend that you use a tile sealer to seal the slate prior to grouting and to use epoxy grout. The grout is more difficult to install but requires no sealers which need to be redone at least once a year in a shower and is well worth the initial time and effort. Be sure to read and follow the directions on the grout bags to ensure a uniform color and good grout set. MT C

- it depends....is the cement painted or polished? is it usually dirty? these can make it much more slippery than it would be if it is none of these. I skate on a polished cement track which was covered in epoxy and is super slippery. I use Sugar hybrid wheels because they are super grippy. If the cement isn't polished you should probably use harder wheels.

- You can buy cement powder at your local home store. The price varies on the types of aggregates. You'd want the more coarse aggregate as they function like support but they are more expensive. Otherwise use rebars when you mix them if you buy the cheaper powder. You have to have a big enough mixer to mix everything at once. Otherwise, it would be a pain to do it and very messy.
- Q: My parents have a family of life size cement deer that they want me to bronze. They figured I could find instructions on the internet but so far I'm not having a lot of luck. Does anyone know of a resource that can help me out? (I'm used to painting ceramics but never a bronze finish before -- and never anything that big!)
- There are various paints that might be used. However cement can be a problem when it comes to paint,because it is acidic.There is process called acid washing or maybe it's acid staining a process for applying color to existing cement ,primarily floors, that you might look into. Google cement colorants, cement stains etc. Most of the information available on the net applies to industrial application,floor coloring ,architectural applications. Working with cement can be hard on the hands so use some rubber gloves.

- yup you can use cement board on floors, walls, ceilings... anywhere you think moisture may be a problem. as for putting carpet on it, you can, but it wouldnt be my first choice, just because carpet can hold onto moisture and possibly encourage mold. if you like carpet, go ahead, but watch the moisture. otherwise, use tile or lino, and use area rugs.
- Q: I am trying to demo my shower to the studs. Tile is laid over durock cement wall. Floor tiles came right up but the tile on the durock is difficult to remove and I'm wondering how I'm going to remove the durock too. Thanks.
- Well the best way I've found to remove the tile and durock to the studs is a descent size crow bar and some old fashioned elbow grease.I demoed a few bathrooms with that concrete and wire mesh.If you can get it started on one end and get to one of the studs, try to find the staples and get under them and pry from there.If you've got hardy gloves you can grab a corner and pull.The weight of the tile and concrete can help get the staples out of the studs.Those are some of the quicker ways I've found to do it, but believe me you'll need a breather when it's done.5 gallon buckets are good for small debris to carry if you're on the second floor.Good luck, and don't kill yourself.
